Hey all,

I'm trying to learn the UDK (latest version) and I'm having some trouble spawning bots.

I've set the trigger to Spawn Actor in Kismet and set the spawn point to my path node. The factory property is set to UTActorFactoryAI and the Pawn Class is UTPawn. When I activate the trigger, I hear a thud but no bot appears. Does anyone know what's wrong?

That's exactly what I did, but it the trigger won't spawn the bot.

So the problem is that the engine has changed so much from that example which is the Gears of War Edition that all the default pawns can not be spawned that way. So I will go ahead and compile a pawn for you to use.
*Keep an eye on this post I will edit it when I get it done.

To use the pawn, just replace the UTPawn with NewPawn in the tutorial. Install README is included.
