Bloodlust [Need feedback] Thread

Ive planned out a mod for HL2 with four other people and here's what we came up with.

First off, The mod will be mainly about modern day conflict between vampires and werewolves. We're planning to feature modern day weapons like; Glock 18, Beretta 9mm, Desert Eagle, Spas 12, Sawed off Shotgun, M4A1, M16A1, and etc.

Werewolves:
Human form
- Able to wield guns, Jump slightly more than regular humans.
- Can be killed easily but will be able to regenerate slowly once dead.
- Able to transform into werewolf form at will (takes time to transform)

Wolf form
- Unable to wield guns (Melee Only), Jump & Speed superior to vampires.
- More hitpoints than vampires
- More strength than vampires

Vampires:
- Able run & jump & hit and hide better than humans.
- Able to wield guns and melee attack at any point.
- Able to regenerate as fast as werewolves (once dead).
- Health regenerates when consuming blood (human form blood)

Thats all we thought about for now. Give us some feedbacks and we'll add or minus the things on the list.

Sounds good to me. So what is it just going to be liek a Deathmatch or something? Also, wasn't there a movie like this last year or something?

Multiplayer.. Hopefully on source it will be better.. Sony pictures hired some "horrible" amateurs for their mod in which it was given the word "horrible" everywhere.. It will mainly be team deathmatch and objective match.

It had amazing mappers... they weren't, 'amatures', as you put it.

Considering this is Neil Manke's mod team who were responsible for the They Hunger series which is widely acclaimed and considered by many to be one of the best Single Player Half Life mods and probably one of the best Single Player mods ever, I don't think amateurs is fair. By definition, they are not amateurs, being sponsored by PcGamer for They Hunger and Sony for Underworld.

Underworld Bloodlines was created in 2 months as a contract mod for Sony pictures. For the first major multiplayer mod from a single player team, it was a pretty impressive effort. I don't know where your 'horrible everywhere' came from but most of the reviews and comment I've seen were positive.

Interesting. Sounds kinda like a more up to date version of vampire slayer (which was good fun back in the day).

Would be interested to play, i'll keep an eye on this one.
