Haven't heard about the killing of little kids, but the fact that this is essentially a spiritual successor to System Shock 2 makes it a winner in my book. |

Bastard, beat me to it. Take-Two Interactive got their hands on it so you are probably going to be able to kill hookers with Baseball Bats in this one. Anything with models like this is a win in my book. --

Maybe take two though it needed some shock factor to get the feel of the series. Shock. Get it! Ha! I'm sorry everybody... Anyway, I can't wait for it, models or no damn models. Bioshock is supposed to be like System Shock, and that's worth killing kids for any day of the week. |

Gosh! Someone else has heard of Metronome! How awesome does it sound? It was in PCPP a while back, and my friend emerged a couple of days after it, saying he had read it all. I asked him about Metronome and he drew a blank. Turns out he had skipped past it. Why does no-one like the good games! |

And this game I'll be getting! I've always wanted to mangle a little kid, only without the after-guilt and jail sentence. |

you didn't know you could shoot children in deus ex? and you can hack up animals such as cats with a crowbar. Edited by: leilei -- < insert subject games here >

I never played DX, unfortunately. You could delta-force kids in the head on Fallout, but I never played that either. |

The kids in Fallout were generally mutant freaks though, weren't they? --

Deus Ex was fun, but shooting the kids was a bad idea. They generally told you stuff. So you give them soda, listen to them, find the secret passage, then shoot them. Unless Paul is alive. Then you don't shoot anyone. One could also tread on cats in Deus Ex. They would screech and run off. I played that game for a long time. Tread on them again, and they die. You couldn't tread on children though. Damn. |

What, not even with the jump aug? I'm almost tempted to reinstall DX just to find out |

I would usually just let my other party members attack the kids and never attack them directly with my character, it would bring my kill count up and I wouldn't be called a child killer. -- I'm the Bringer of Death, Fall to your knees and beg for mercy... Or Give me a Sandwich I'm hungry. |

Wow, you now have me very tempted. I think I might load up DX and get through the boring first mission to find out. It's almost worth it. Anyone got a save near a kid? |

There's a kid right at the start of the second mission -- < insert subject games here >

hong kong is the best place for slaughters. "market place massacre", get some triad sword and stab a kid through the eye eh eh. i liked that street though, where the Red Dragon Dominatrix lives (and where Jock's apartment is, that's such a cool place). imho Hong kong was the best place in the whole game, and I loved having it feel more RPGish there, ie. having a place to stay even. --
