1. Poser 6 any good for creating characters for animation and games? And, Any way to use one of those total 3d home software? I just happened to look at one of those and they have so many premade 3d models available I would imagine it would be impossible or illegal to export them into your games but thought I would ask. to me it would be great to have tonsof random appliances and furniture available and the available textures they have. |

Poser is cheap, it won't earn you any respect from game/mod developers. You're better of learning how to model, rig and animate a character yourself, because then not only can you model human characters (probably the hardest thing to do) but you have a knowledge of how that shit actually works, not just having it automatically done for you extremely cheaply. Secondly, I know what you mean but I don't know of any sort of software that has high quality, fully modelled and skinned furniture. If there was, there would likely be a way to get it, but without an example I can't give a more detailed answer |
