Music Theorist/Composer/Musician from CT. (Possibly looking to relocate but always looking for remote/freelance)
Education:

  • Yale School of Music - 2 AP classes during high school and 2 summer/winter programs.
  • University of Bridgeport - Bachelors of Music with a focus on education, minor in composition
  • Dean’s list scholar award recipient for academic excellence.
  • Georgia Institute of Technology - Survey of Music Technology (through Coursera)

Experience:

  • Volunteer at Cooperative Arts & Humanities Magnet High School for 2 years as music professors assistant and private tutor in multiple instruments and theory.
  • Teachers assistant in Fusion Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Music Theory 1-4, Pro-Tools, Group Piano & private tutor all 4 years of college.
  • Performed at over 150+ concerts/recitals.
  • Studio musician for multiple bands/artists varying in genre and instruments. Including: bass, drum-set, guitar, & keyboards. Genres including hip-hop, rap, rock, progressive, & metal.
  • Taught at private music school for 2 years before they closed down. Teaching private lessons, group lessons, theory and composition as well as help organize and produce 2 musicals and 4 recitals.

Most notable compositions & achievements:

  • Composed the OST for “Mr. Moore’s Last Seconds” which has over 65 thousand views on multiple websites, a rating of 3.75 out of 5 on newgrounds.com; received 5th in audio, 8th in mood and 43rd overall in the Ludum Dare 27 competition (which had 2213 submissions), it also was posted on Adobe Flash’s official facebook page and twitter.
  • Battle for Wesnoth - Return to Ruins SP Campaign soundtrack.
  • Opened for bands such as Foreigner, Buckethead, & The Machine.
  • Played venues such as The Shubert Theater, Toad’s PLace, The Bridgeport Bluefish Stadium, The Webster Theater, Woolsey Hall at Yale School of Music.
  • Played/recorded/worked with bands and artists such as Hilly Michaels, Dave Hart, James Moody, Jeffrey Johnson, Justin Tierney, G. Bliz, Mike Godette, Patrick Smith, Kurt Coble, Chris Coogan, Jeffrey Jones, Kurt Smith, NP2, Proof of Purchase & others.
