Please PM me with an email, or just questions. I have more information on our website about each position, so just ask for the link. I can answer general questions in the comments as well.

I’m looking for:

Creative Character Designer/Concept Artist

Environments Artist

Puzzle/Game designer

Marketing Assistant

UI Designer

Quality Assurance

I've got a team working on a free, very unique point and click adventure. I'd love to tell you more, but the idea is complex and is hard to understand outside of context. I highly recommend reading the GDD.

To give you an idea, the unique physical/puzzle aspect is slightly reminiscent of portal, and the dialogue is like nothing ever before done. However, the physical/puzzle aspect is the selling point of the game. Not to brag, but I usually get at "WOW, that's awesome!"-type reaction each time I reveal it. I don't mind promoting this feature because my lead writer created it, not me. It's not the kind of feature I would have every though of. I still have 1-3 unique features in each of my own creations, but it will be long before those games are ready for production. I'd be happy to talk about them as well, but keep in mind those are side projects until we finish our free project.

We are launching a Kickstarter and releasing the game for free. Our stretch goals promise to form a company and make more games at a brisk pace. If funding is only adequate, we will simply make new games in the future, but future projects will have little or no funding. If funding is moderate, we will form a company, but we can't promise any kind of quick production of games.

The entire team, aside from myself, will receive a single payment for working on this free game if kickstarter funding is adequate. Good funding will result in the formation of an LLC and possibly even a monthly salary for some employees. Sales of our first paid game will be used to keep everyone employed for years to come if an LLC is formed. In the future, payment can also be in the form of revenue share for games that are sold. If no LLC is formed, a full revenue share model will have to be used.

Regardless of funding earned, I will make games forever. I have 1 major project and another 3 smaller projects that are being designed still. Some of the team is working on my second project but most of the team is focusing on our free project.

I can tell you anything you like. Please ask specific questions so I can save time recruiting. I hope you are interested and thanks for reading!

I can give you a look at our contracts, the documents used for calculating payment, game design documents, etc. Just promise me you won't share them around the web; I promise to get these games out as soon as I can.

Information for artists:

We have 2 other artists who aren't especially creative, at least with our current style. They are skilled enough to copy designs but not create them. I will be playing a large role in every aspect of design and production; I'm taking the place of the animator, for example. By the end of production, all the jobs I am doing will be taken over by new recruits.

Art style: Realism meets cartoon. The outlines of character move slightly, even while still, much like Ed, Edd, and Eddy. The environments are various locations around a school, houses, and outdoors locations like a beach and forest. All visuals are in black, white, and a few shades of gray. Depending on the mood or location, the entire hue will shift to any color (red, blue, yellow, etc.)

Art not final. We want someone to make a brand new style only mildly influenced by this concept art.
