Ethernal Codex (game/vector/dynamite) is looking for script writers for a Fantasy/Sci-Fi hybrid. Our game will mix RTS and Lead Characters(s) storylines.
Description
Our game is set after a war that was lost, so an ability to express character emotions such as fear, sorrow, vengefulness, turmoil and moral conflict will be considered paramount, although other areas of the script will lighten off to allow players to enjoy advances made and alliances forged.
In addition, we require our world to have some level of history prior to, yet fitting, the timeline of our game. There will be two such histories: a history of the aggressor prior to meeting our defenders and the history of the defenders before and after encountering the aggressor.
Position 1
Requires the ability to take a storyline from origin to completion that will occur mainly as inter-character dialogues, with visual back-up provided when nessecary. Ability to absorb and include ideas from other team members will be needed.
Position 2
We require someone to write short dialogs for traders, side-line mission givers and random side-line chats. Would suit those looking for work experience!
Profit-Share
Eternal Codex is a profit-share meaning all team members recieve both credit for their efforts and any finiancial reward there may be.
Both posts require a sample of your writing style. Understanding the difference beetween direct story-telling and choice-dependant game scripts would be advantagous.
