Team Chivalry is looking for a dedicated animator for our FPS melee medieval warfare project. We already have two releases under our belt, feel free to check out our official website and forums at<!-- m --> Age-of-chivalry.com or Moddb.com

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The animator's main focus would be to create realistic and/or stylized character key frame animation to enhance the game environment and experience. This person will collaborate closely with the department lead and art team members and use Maya 2010 in order to deliver assets that are both visually sound and within the technical limitations of our engine.

REQUIREMENTS:

All Animation Candidates must have a portfolio and reel that demonstrates:
-A strong artistic background
-Strong understanding of classic animation principles and fundamentals (i.e.; Squash and Stretch, timing and Motion, anticipation, exaggeration, follow through, arcs and appeal.)
-Experience creating hand-keyed character animation in a 3D software package such as Maya 7.0 or higher.
-Able to produce assets in a timely matter to fit within our production cycle. IE. (2-4 days for a fully polished animation asset)
-Applicants must be able to take constructive criticism and apply the feedback to make adjustments and improve on their animation assets.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

-An avid Age of Chivalry player is a plus!
-Complete all work in a timely basis
-Remain focused, motivated and effective on all tasks through completion
-Demonstrate a desire to learn and grow professionally

Does it have to be strictly Maya? I would like to help you out but I'm more fond of Softimage XSI and 3ds Max.

Our Rigs are setup in Maya, so yes you would need to use that package.
