ab_salen Thread

This map is made for the HL-Rally mod (www.hlrally.net).
Its basicly an a-to-b map and runs along a mountain side.
The second down-angled curve will be fixed as the first one.
The outerside of the track will have mountains and the inner will have cliff sides.

Now you wonder, "HOW THE HELL DO I TEST THIS MAP U RETARD!?"
Well, go to www.hlrally.net -> Files -> Download TDK -> Install, then to
get the map to show up in map list, edit this in liblist.gam:
mpentity "info_player_deathmatch"

to

mpentity "info_player_start"

You will also need to download these wad files from the Files page:
hlrally_spectators.wad
hlrally_winter.wad
hlrally_wad.wad
hlrally_advert.wad
hlrally_wasteland.wad

There u go, now race!

ok i don't have the mod and i won't dl it either but i think those are pretty neat pictures, you might just change the hl background

Is that like in 13th floor where you can drive to the end of the universe

Well, like Neo said, the background/environment needs a change, but other than that, it looks good.

yes oh and also maybe you could do some obstacles(sp?) and stuff to make the tack more interesting

Like i said, i compiled it just to test the track and the feeling of the track, then i will add trees, mountains, cliff etc.

The end of the map has been redone, but i will continue on the map cause its not long enough.
