3D spline modeling issue. Thread

So I am working on a person in splines but I can't seem to make patch these splines Plus.google.com. It's in lightwave 3D. It's says curves do not cross correctly when I patch it. Do I have to start all over again? How do I take all the polygons out of the splines made. Please tell me. What do you do when you come across this problem? It's the one beside the car.
