3D Modeller and Coder looking for work (I don't need money) Thread

Hello everyone,

This is Deb. I know a bit about 3D modelling and coding as well. I have worked in Wings 3D, Cinema 4D and have also done some work in Autodesk Mudbox all as a hobby out of sheer interest. Please see some of my work below

I also have worked a little on Torque 3D game engine as well. I can improve on my knowledge there if I get to contribute to a gaming project. Torque 3D is a powerful open source game engine. So if you are serious about making a game, I can definitely be useful to your team!

Also one more thing. I am not doing this for money. You don't have to pay me anything right now. As per my principle, I say let us try designing a nice game first. If we can get to a release date and actually end up making some profit we can then share it with everyone in the team. Designing games has always been my passion but had given up some months ago since the kind of complexities, games come with today, it's not possible to create a game all by yourself. But my spirits were kind of re-ignited having seen this website.

Hi there Deb,

My name is Gagelan, I'm the leader of a team working on a game being released for free on Steam titled, The Epic of Lightsong. The design theme is a high fantasy rpg with elements of both strategy and sandbox. (Similarities include Diablo III and League of Legends) I have no decided game engine yet as I am leaving that to the capable hands of our programmers to decide. As a member of the team you would get to be there to decide the very basics of the mechanics we use and design them from the ground up with the engine of your choice.
Our art and writing teams are successful but we're lacking in our sound, music, 3D modeling, and coding. The project is just now taking off the ground.
You will not be the only one coding on the team, I am keeping the door open for one or two more coders, and your skill in 3D models could be used to great effect.

We will be starting a Kickstarter campaign for $9300 and every member involved from beginning to end will receive $500, assuming we get funded.
Future positions are planned for higher pay, following the assumed success.
