Good Day/Evening Everyone,

My name is Clint and I am a 3D Artist looking for work. I specialize in Characters, Hand-painted Textures and is also capable of sculpting for Normal Maps (zBrush). I am also capable of doing some illustrations and concept art. I also have rigged (with Biped, 3ds Max), and have done some environment props.

You can visit my website/portfolio at: TheClintHennesy.com

Just a note- my site is still on beta and most assets are still to be uploaded by the end of the year- but my site should give you an idea about me and the past projects I've done. Here is a link to my 3D Demo Reel done at 2014: Theclinthennesy.com.

Feel free to contact me through PM, Skype (Zael613), or Email (via Contact Me@my Website)

Thanks heaps! Hope you guys have a good day.

Some FAQs from PMs

  1. Do you do paid work only?
    1. Unfortunately, Yes. As much as I want to do free work for your projects, I've realized how low-committal and risky these "free" projects are (based on experience) and there are a lot (based on experience) of times that these "non-budget" projects end up not being published at all.
  2. How do I work- What do I need to provide for any work?
    1. I work by deadlines. I can provide WIPs/progress if requested.
    2. For 3D models, it is recommended that you provide turnarounds and concept art for the project. Tech-related requirements (poly-count, topology, "will it be rigged") are also your responsibility to provide.
    3. In the case some projects don't exactly have turnarounds or concept art available, I would charge extra for the labor in drafting out the turnarounds. Again, negotiable in a case-by-case basis.
  3. How much/Mode of Payment.
    1. I will work under your budget. Prices are negotiable based on deadline and quality. If a model takes 20 hours to do that is due in a month compared to the same model due in a week will have different pricing. If 4 models are requested and due in a month, then I would consider that "a model a week"- and so on. We can discuss things over Skype. I will also send a formal quote on the pricing including the products requested and a breakdown on the amount of hours expected.
    2. I will (on most cases) require an upfront payment for initiation. The amount will be negotiated.

Greetings to The Clint,

Some nice work here, wd.

We are working on a project that has a high need for non-standard critters and when I seen your drawing of Emryse it really appealed to me. I wonder if you might be interested in modelling some unusual non-humanoids - we have been looking at the wonderfully strange creatures from our pale blue dot as inspirations for both lead and monster characters aswell as some Mecha inspired by the insect world. Officially we are not recruiting at the mo. There is a pair of us (writer/programmer). Emryse struck too much of a chord with me not to put the feelers out on you.

I give an example here of a patch-work concept I prepared called Wygan. We are open to providing mock images like these OR to you providing the sources of inspiration. Please say hi on Skype: etherflows. Good luck with all your devs regardless.

@Danarogan

Hi. Yes. Unfortunately, I can only commit to paid works.

@Etherflows

Hi. I've sent you a Skype request. :)

Hey there,

I have a grave need for a 3D modeller for a project... unfortunately I am currently alone. I cannot offer much, so a full- or even part-time employment is out of question. However I'd like to discuss a few things with you, including the terms of payment and the project details, if you're not too occupied with collaborating with etherflows. :P

Hit me up on Skype: derija93 (display name Baz)

Sincerely,
Zyr

@Zyr

Hey Zyr. I've added you on Skype. :D

As for anyone else who gets to read this thread, I've updated the main post about some "FAQs" and whatnot. That's all.

You should search through indeed.com - they provide a really wide range of options for designers.

Hey there, mate. I'd like to make it simple, keep it simple. We're an indie team of dedicated and passionate professionals trying to make a mark in the industry. We're more like friends rather than coworkers. We have an awesome concept, idea, and every detail in place. Everything is possible and viable without any budget. However, all we need is someone skilled to create powerful art, a Midas, and we found it's you. So we would like to invite you to join our profit-sharing rad team, at least for a one-project stand. You in, mate? This is an opportunity you would regret you missed. Hit me a message for other details and e-mail. And yes, we don't give up.

Hi amritsuresh8,

Sorry- but I'm in the middle of two projects at the moment and to take in unpaid work would be difficult. :-l

Thanks for the offer though. :)
