Greetings!
I am currently looking for a 2D/3D designer to join a new games development team based in London (UK). We are a startup company and are not so much looking for someone to work for us on this project only, but actually to potentially be a part of this team/company for the long term and build and grow with us. Unity will be the platform from which we are developing but we are also open to others. We are really looking for someone that has their own design style. You don’t necessarily have to be the best artist in the world, but just have your own style and creativeness.

We currently have a very capable programmer on board, with myself and another covering the project management, audio and marketing aspects. We plan to create our first game on mobile platforms, starting small, to ensure that the team we put together can work well together, and also creating easily attainable goals for our first project, which we aim to take all the way and get fully published. Let me stress however that we plan to grow with every project and eventually be developing for all the major platforms and make some very big games in the future. But we must start somewhere, so for now we want to keep it small and simple, BUT still create a good game.

We are looking for someone to join us on a rev-share basis to start with as we are a startup, HOWEVER, we are most certainly open to discussing other options. I want to also state that any expenses (within reason) will be covered for anyone joining the project, such as travel for meetings, or any software required. We want to make sure that everyone in the team has what they need.

Also, I know that at this stage, this is merely talk on my part, as I am sure many many others say the same thing, but I’ll say it anyway, that we have had talks with a number of different companies/organisations and are extremely confident that we will be securing funding once we have one project completed.

If you are interested in joining please do not hesitate to get in touch! Contact me at stevekaye84@hotmail.co.uk, either add me on Skype or drop me an email, or just message me on this forum :) It would be great to arrange a face to face meeting and get things moving as we are all extremely keen to get started!

Kind Regards,
Steve
