Hello everyone,
Lore Interactive is seeking new and experienced artists, animators, and writers for an exciting new game.

Let me first introduce myself. I am Gagelan Moody, you can call me Gage or Mad-Eye (Harry Potter reference. )
My Credentials:
I have an extensive history in leadership training as well as leadership in my day to day job.
I have been running the team as lead designer for a good time now. We have yet to complete a project but are on our second attempt, which is going really successful. I know how to roll with the punches of life and understand that failure is the key to even greater success.
I manage the team and guide it towards a common goal and purpose.
I'm a fantasy writer and have years of experience in writing, and in art. While not a professional artist, and not having any official classes, the amount of practice and dedication I've put into my work shows. The same can be said for every project I take on, including project management such as this.
I'm 20 years old, and getting married in April. I've never let my age be a factor in who I am or who I can be. Time is a tool to those who know how to use it, and age is merely a number to those who willingly seek further understanding.

I want to invite you to join our team, Lore Interactive.I have been working to establish the company for some time now and we have two projects in the works. A top-down Strategy RPG similar to Diablo 3 with MOBA combat aspects, and sandbox world elements. We also have a sidescrolling open-world beat-em up with similarities to Castle Crashers.
Here's a link to the company on IndieDB: Indiedb.com
We also have a Facebook and Twitter page, as well as a company email.

The Team:
I began the company in July of this year and have been working hard on a high quality fantasy rpg. As this was the company's first project, it's met with a few snags so our focus changed to a smaller project, the sidescroller.
To work around the company troubles we're looking for new or experienced people to join our team in developing smaller less-complex games that will ultimately build up to the games we desire to make.
At present we have a 2D character artist and a colorist on board, a 3D nature and weapon modeler, a very talented set of composers, one of whom is the developer of our ancient Elven language, a quest designer, and two very skilled Programmers.
While the team is US based, most of our members are Internationally located. (UK, Argentina, Austria, and India among many others.)
We want to expand our team with more artists, and more writers.

The Game:
Name - Ahlréc (Hero)
Style - Side scrolling platformer, beat-em up, action, adventure, high fantasy
Platform - PC + Whatever systems we can port it to.Distribution Method - Steam, X-box Live, Sony PSN, etc.
Engine - Unity
Price - $5-$20
Plot:
When the ancient world of the Elves is shaken to the core by the entrance of a foreign race via a pact with demons, the Elves must quickly learn how to fight and use their magic skills to defend and attack after having lived for thousands of years in peace with their neighbor races the Nekomata and the Dwarves.
You play as the heroes of the Elves, Dwarves, and Nekomata as the siege against your great city of old rages on. Can you defend your people with the unique fighting styles and magic abilities of our greatest champions? Or will the assault crush the spirit of your people and leave your world falling into chaos?
Gameplay:
Take charge as a champion in this open world side-scrolling platformer and lead your people to victory with unique attacks and abilities for every champion. Enter strategy mode with the push of a button, pausing the world and allowing you to set the positions of your troops and lay down barriers of rock or ice with Earth and water magic or support with a variety of other spells. When strategy mode is exited the combat resumes in real-time, executing all of your commands and taking it from there.

Future Content Ideas:
- Play as the Humans: Assault the city yourself in this new expansion to the game. Tear down the walls and get as far as you can in this endless battle mode. Set the world record for longest time, greatest number of enemies defeated, or greatest number of bosses killed.
- New Champions and Weapon: With DLC and free content patches, we can introduce a greater variety of champions to play, add to the campaign, and provide a better selection of usable weapons.

The role:
Artists- We need additional character artists, as well as envrionmental, spell, and UI artists. Send us your portfolio, or your deviant art account, and we'll be happy to get back in touch with you.
Animators- We're working to create the smoothest animation and combat possible. Whether you have artistic skill or not, if you can animate the art being made, then you're hired. Show us your portfolio or a video of your work and we'll be more than happy to get back in touch.
Writers- We're looking to add greater depth to each character, race, and the world at large. If you'd like to join we have a variety of writing roles that need to be filled.

Pay:
I have three forms of payment deals within my company. Each deal is calculated by the amount of games you've made with the company, the amount of time you've put into the project, and the role you've played in making the game, along with the difficulty of the game (I.E. complex RPG's or RTS' will pay more than sidescroller beat-em ups. [Different roles come at a higher value than others.]) Do not disclose the amount of money you will be making to anyone else.

Profit share 1: You will receive a percent of all profits earned within a year's time.
Profit share 2: You will receive a percent of all profits earned within three month's time. (Reason is that some games sales happen mostly in the first two to three months, and then die down. That is not always the case, but this is a chance offer to possibly make a little more bang for the buck.)
Kickstarter Funding: You will receive a specific commission from the Kickstarter budget + a percent of profits earned over the budget. (If the game is produced with a Kickstarter budget you'll get a baseline of $500 for every suspected year of development + a % of extra earnings as people can donate past the original budget goal. The Kickstarter budget may come in addition to a profit share deal. Allowing you to receive the first at the end of production and the other at the end of the first year [Or third month] of the game.
Remaining money is used to build a dedicated studio for the team, and to help produce a better paying budget for the next game

Credit:
The IP and all items you present for use in the game will be owned by Lore Interactive at the point of presentation. However, you will receive full credit for your work done and retain the right to post about your work or the assets that you have used. You may not sell those assets to any other group, company, organization, or entity that is not Lore Interactive, and you may not divulge the exact game programming to others unless it is in an instructive manner to others in the team.

Your Role:
Your role in the team is as decided by you and your talents or skills that you can present.

Questions + Demands:
If you have any questions I'll be happy to answer them, or any demands you'd like to make and I'll try my best to work to meet you there.
This is a project in the works. If you're interested then let me know. While a lot of the back Lore is done already, there is a lot of room for open creativity. You could make the developmental process that much smoother.
Anyway, I'd love to have you on the team, and I'm looking forward to a response.
Sincerely,
Gagelan M.
