As you probably already know, I am a person of broad imagination - that also includes many (some say too many :P) ideas. Therefore I'd like to present additions I invented to traits of vanilla CK II.
Traits are divided into several groups: educations, health traits, genetic traits, lifestyles, personality traits, religious traits, etc.
I want to introduce you to few groups that will probably be added to vanilla ones in Ancient Kings, particularily:
- completely reworked education traits - in place of 5 basic trait trees there will be 10 - 2 focusing on each attribute.
- profession traits - education-depended traits (for example Courtesan for a female spy or Fanatic for a priest) that resemble useful abilities, specialities and traits of a character that improve him in his profession.
- social class traits - connected mostly to Rome, but there's great possibility that they will be included in various form in all cultures, resemble character's social class which may or may not forbid (or permit) them to receive various titles and lands, etc.
- culture-specific traits - for example Roman cursus honorum traits that will determine what kinds of offices the character can be granted.
- (optional) bloodline traits - in Ancient times, bloodline often meant much, so being a descendant of a powerful Ancient figure or dynasty may affect character's overall prestige.
I'm planning to rework at least most of vanilla traits, that includes for example historically-correctly reworked health traits.
Below I'm presenting you the complete list of educational traits and their bonuses in Ancient Kings.
