The Teutonic Order
(ROSTER EXTENSION/REVAMP)
The original thread of the Teutonic faction is Made by Ltd.
Strengths : Heavy cavalry faction including decent javelin cavalry unit capable in dealing with mobile armies in neighboring factions. Colonist, vassal and native units provide the bulk the army. Powerful from the mid to late game.
Weaknesses : No pike units. Limited missile cavalry troops. Must rely on mercenary horse archers from the east.
A very big thanks to Tripplesoldner and Ltd for rigging the assets. Also to knight2708 for providing some information for this faction. A many big thanks to my co-modders for the help and the people from the discord channel. TIME TO CONVERT THE BALTIC PAGANS WITH A SWORD!!!

Can't we get some horned helmets for the higher tier knights?

Noice! Now they have a proper (perhaps a tad bit cav centric) versatile roster.
Disappointed by the lack of horned helmets.
Dismounted Ritterbruder they do not look like the medieval 2 total war teutonic campaign xD
Why don't they have horned helmets?
Keep it realistic, don't add horned helmets. Those were never used in battle and purely ornamental. Medieval II Kingdoms really insisted on giving every Ritterbruder some sort of helmet crest when in reality, Teutonic Knights would never have had those on in battle. The Ritterbruder models look perfect in tier 1 and 2. Stick to the Great Helms and Bascinets as helmets. The Sallets used in Tier 3 look accurate, but note that they only came in at around 1450. So keep that in mind. Amazing work! Coming from a 1410 Battle of Tannenberg Teutonic Knight Reenactor!
