Hi Command and Conquer fans!
You may have seen my username pop-up in posts occasionally in Zero Hour mods, but I thought today I'd share something a little different.
Aside from Generals, one of my other hobbies has always been plastic scale modelling, specifically aircraft, but I've delved into tanks, ships, etc. before.
I took the opportunity to create one of the most iconic aircraft from the General's franchise, Air Force General Malcolm Granger's infamous "King Raptor" - armed to the teeth with six (yellow?) laser-guided missiles, a personal defence laser and a really cool paint-job. I took it upon myself to recreate this beauty in 1:72 scale from a cheap Revell kit I found in a local hobby shop.
A lot of time and effort went into making the King Raptor, including the custom-made stand I created which is a large version of the USA faction logo from the game.
I hope you enjoy this video, let me know if this is something you'd like to see more of, or if you have any suggestions for other Generals-related models I should build.
King Raptor Scale Model
Today I'll show you how to make a King Raptor in 1:72 scale, step by step.
