So in the End.....it turns out..... Geralt himself is the assasin of the king.... and was pretending to be the investigator of the murder the whole time.... he even fames someone else for the murder to close the entire matter..... and as he was investigating the entire matter no one doughts him... preety clever ....huh !!!

Altair is in no way an historical person, nor is the order a real order.
Check the wikipedia article. An order did indeed exist but they were Muslims whereas in the Assassin's Creed universe, they could be any religion or belief. Also, they weren't fighting Templars.
According to Ubisoft Assasins creed 1 was set in an Arabic region & even the name Altair is an arabic name also the NCPs were speaking arabic .....and just to tell u guys there are much more muslims even these days in arabic countries than any other religion.....
so there is a slight chance
