The Odyssey Engine is a computer game engine developed by BioWare and has exclusively been used to create three dimensional computer role-playing games. The engine is BioWare's third license-able engine, after the Infinity Engine and the Aurora Engine. The engine was first used by BioWare to produce the critically acclaimed Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic released on November 19, 2003. The engine was later licensed to Obsidian Entertainment to develop the sequel, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords first released December 6, 2004. The engine was based on the Aurora Engine (the one used in Neverwinter Nights) and added 3D backgrounds and character facial motions.
This is the v0_2_9 release of the K1 portion of the Expanded Galaxy Project for both KotOR games.
Could you explain this mod for someone who's been out of the loop for a while?
Is it an original story addon or something/an idea taken from somewhere else and modded into kotor ?
Is it something to play after the full game has been played?
And is there one release for each ? ie:K1 + K2.
Sorry ,hope you don't mind the question ,just a bit confused with all the mods i'm coming across while getting ready for a new play-through of kotor 1 and kotor 2.
I'm just collecting all the mods together beforehand.
It is primarily a modders resource for the time being, I ported all the maps from both games into both games using all the modding tools available, I have stopped working on this at the moment and am focused more on the K2 version, but I haven't released any updates on ModDB for a while, I mostly use DeadlyStream at the moment.
Sorry to disappoint and sorry for the late reply.
No worries ,i always check DeadlyStream too.
Thanks for the info.
edit:
Info on DeadlyStream OP seems to point here for the K1/K2 links
This is going to be epic! I'm hoping to get a working galaxy map travel system working if you can't someday, but it will depend entirely upon how much time I have for KOTOR modding.
It's pretty easily done, I have managed it in K2 and seen that the same is available in K1, I have since stopped working on this at the moment to focus on the K2 version.
