Description

EF_NOSHADOW is now supported for static entities. "jpegsplit yourfolder" console command will split .tga files into far smaller jpeg files including a separate jpeg for alpha channel. Corona only effects via PFLAGS_CORONA (.pflags is a QuakeC field) now render --- meaning corona only entities can be created/destroyed/modified in QuakeC (previously could only be done with uninteractable .rtlights files). Improvements to Intermap Travel and a bug fix where a field was not set. Mods can now specify keys in the key menu via menu_keylist.txt. Other changes in readme.

Hey, I'm playing Quake 1.5, should I use the Beta release or the Alpha one? Also is there a way to play Quake 1.5 with other mods (like Arcane Dimensions for example) ? Thanks

Zircon Beta generally far better. (Both both work fine with Quake 1.5)

Unfortunately no -- Quake 1.5 has its own progs.dat and anything that comes with a progs.dat, like Arcane Dimensions -- you can't use both.

So for instance, Arcane Dimensions has custom monsters and such, Quake 1.5 encounters a monster_XXXXXX and Quake 1.5 doesn't know what that is or all the custom items.
