And it would seem that there is some work to do .mdl fence texture support (flag 16384). The "pink" areas of the tree leaves are black, they are supposed to be alpha masked and not draw at all.
staying on previous Beta 1 for now.
So far rock steady in Brutal Quake, mouse pointer system working a treat (good work!), and 4k resolution working without hacking ini's (unlike Darkplaces), no framerates drops
I'm running Brutal mode with everything speeded up, enemies, animations all 30% faster and more lethal weapon balancing
