This is the full version of The Dawn of the Tiberium Age v4.9.0; all files necessary to play are included, so you also don't need to have the original game installed.
To install the mod, simply extract all files to an empty folder and run DTA.exe to play.
Version 4.9.0:
Build 1.1390
Released: Feb 22, 2015
- Changed: The different client windows (main, CnCNet lobby, game lobby and personal message) now use different icons (Credits: Bittah Commander, Rampastring).
- Fixed: A ruined silo overlapped with a ruined war factory on "Black Forest", caused the game to crash when it was destroyed.
- Fixed: The "No Baddy Crates" option caused the game to crash as soon as you picked up a crate.
- Fixed: The client now attempts to directly connect to the server's IP address if it can't connect to CnCNet via the hostname (Credits: Rampastring).
since I have the 1.1388 version ( and 1.1390 ) , when I run CnCNet , the lobby appears, then an error message . And I tried to restart the game , restart the computer ... Why does not it work?
What is the error message?
Could you upload the cncnetclient.log file somewhere so that we can take a look at it?
I do not have the file you're talking about , but I have a file named " cncnetclient.dat ."
The CnCNet Client has crashed. Error message:
Could not load file or assembly 'System.Core,version=3.5.0.0, Culture=netral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' or one of its dependencies.
Make sure you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 and all related updates installed.
thank you very much !!! but CnCNet also works if you have the most recent versions of Framework , right?
It should, yes.
The .NET Framework versions are separate; having for example 4.0 installed doesn't mean that you would have 3.5 installed. You can have multiple versions installed at a time and they won't affect each other. (As an exception, 3.5 includes 3.0 and 2.0, but that's a special case)
Wow, nice one guys! I shall try this out and look for nice skirmish maps :)
when will transport ships be available to build? lost of maps with islands but currently unable to expand on to them.
You can use the Chinook to transfer MCVs to the other islands. Simply select the Chinook, click on an MCV of yours, wait for the Chinook to pick it up and then you can tell the Chinook to drop the MCV to the island. If you've played Tiberian Sun and remember GDI's Carryall, DTA's Chinook functions exactly like the TS carryall (except that it's also able to carry infantry).
awsome g locs keep making this
