Description

Changes are numerous but primarily the mod now includes a config.txt that once setup per instructions will execute console commands upon launch. Other changes include an overhaul of the HDR settings and shadow gamma so you won't have such extremes of dark shadows and blinding deserts now.

Pretty buggy... Have a top notch system (GTX770 4 GB with i7 and Windows 7 and SSD) and can run BF4 maxed out on 4K resolution. Got the Crash to Desktop issue first few minutes of playing. Tried disabling Steam In-Game, running Far Cry 2.exe and FC2Launch.exe as administrator, and tried deleting d3d9.dll. None of which fixed the issue. Uninstalling until fixed. Good effort but doesn't work. Too bad because it did make the game look great, even for only a few minutes.

Do you have DX10 enabled in game? If so, that's the culprit. The game crashes all the time when using DX10 for some reason. Switch to DX9, and then adjust the gamma/brightness/contrast in game to get it to look good (I do a bit to the left for brightness, a bit to the right for contrast, and about half to the left for gamma, and it looks good).

Ahhh haha! I was reciting to you your own guide! I saw your comment when I first tried out the mod, and ended up using your image guide to set it up, and here I was telling you how to set it up :P I gotta pay closer attention
