Description

This is a bug fix patch for the Sacrifice of Angels 2 0.9R release. Primary fixes: Map incompatibility issues with DLC planets used in maps created with the vanilla templates. Scrappers Minor faction no longer ties up AI ships defending the planet from neutral ship spawns. Thank Andrewempowered for noticing it. :) Tied into the Scrappers fix, the AI will now research it's hidden subjects that control a variety of AI only functions, primarily cloaking, in a more rapid fashion. For any modders out there that have had issues with this behavior, the AI absolutely LOVES ship slots.

Best mod ever for SOAS.
Best AI for fleet composition and abilities use.
Best balance between races and abilities per ship specially cloaked ships romulans) .Congratulation your mod is better then base SOAS for fleet composition
No lag finally somebody have understood that the lag come form ships speed.
You need only a visual upgrade for icons and ships.
Best mod ever point

You're welcome for catching the bug; this still remains my favorite Star Trek mod to date and I always come back to it :)

On v1.95 there's no sounds (weapons, voices etc). Everything was working find on v1.94. Everything's also fine on the main game (no mods loaded).
Anyone else had this?

This is definitely on your end somewhere. Delete your settings files, verify the game cache, and try a refresh of the mod folder.

Thanks for the reply. Did the verification, found 1 file that needed to download. Did that but no joy. Then uninstalled and installed fresh, again no joy. Finally i downloaded the mod files again and extracted them, still no luck.
The main game still works perfectly fine

If you deleted the settings files, the only other thing to check is the codec. The mod is running ogg, mp3 and wav files, the vanilla game only has ogg.

It might be possible for the sound to bork and not work right if an mp3 or wav file can't be read properly because you've downloaded some sound or video software that overwrote your codec with a bad one.

I'm currently downloading copies of the uploads to fresh install and test. If they've got a corruption problem I'll upload new ones and post again, but generally a corrupted 7z file means no extraction so this is all but certain to not be the problem.

Thanks for taking the time. Finally figured it out and it was a weird one. Turns out it didn't like that i had the mods folder as a junktion on another drive. Removed the junction, moved the mods folder back to C drive and job done.

It works fine, either a glitch with moddb or it's on your end, try a different mirror if it doesn't work still. The file download should be a .7z file.

This requires 7zip to open, which every version of the mod since I started managing it, has been archived with, so I'd think you wouldn't have this problem not being a first time user.

This is also just an update, you'll need the full version download.
