Description

The download includes a simple modification to the CommandSet.ini file which removes super weapons from all factions in Zero Hour(Yes, this kills the purpose of the USA Super Weapon General). To install, place the Data folder into your Zero Hour directory.

It will not work IF the mods modify the CommandSet.ini, which I am certain that SW and Contra definitely do. If these mods already provide them, you can go into the file and modify it by commenting them out(i.e. ; or # signs to the left of the structure name). It may be time consuming but it should be pretty easy if the mod authors don't have obscure names for their structures.

You'll have to find a way to unpack the game(or if the mod provides it), then locate the CommandSet.ini in data\INI in your Zero Hour directory. You can open ini files with notepad(I recommend Notepad++).

Could you tell me which files to edit to disallow AI superweapons, but only the player can use them? I've used one for Rise of The Reds, but it doesn't work for other mods, so I want to do it on my own. Thanks. I really need it.

All I did was comment out the superweapon structures in a file called CommandSet.ini(It's a really easy edit). Unfortunately, doing that will disable the superweapons for both you and the AI. That's all I can remember since I haven't had the game downloaded for about a year and a half.

Hi do I just put this file into the zero hour directory or does it need to be inside one of the sub directories? have tried many and nothing seems to be working :(

Yes, the Zero Hour directory. I'm confident it will work if you place it there.

EDIT: If you are getting a message telling you to replace the CommandSet.ini, it's likely you have another mod installed that is conflicting with the file.

When you say you downloaded it from the internet, I am going to assume you either pirated or purchased a copy of the game on Origin. I can ONLY guarantee that an Origin copy of the game will work 100%.

The mod does not work with version 1.0, an error appears when starting the game. Is there also a Simple No Super Weapons Mod(Zero Hour) for version 1.0? The version 1.04 is unplayable against the AI on hard / Lag...

I have found a mod for version 1.0 :)

Simply install - mod is active

Uninstall - Mod removed from the game

Have a good time playing!

Edit:
I don't know if this mod also works with version 1.04.

Version 1.04 is for the bucket anyway :D

You have to set the AI to hard. Super generals do not work because super weapons are disabled.
