The download includes a simple modification to the CommandSet.ini file which removes super weapons from all factions in Zero Hour(Yes, this kills the purpose of the USA Super Weapon General).
To install, place the Data folder into your Zero Hour directory.
04/19/15: For those who like to play Skirmish with random generals, and do not want to be with a useless Super Weapon General, or just don't want to see the super weapon general anymore, I've removed it from the listing, I will include the download below(This may not be compatible with other mods, nor can I guarantee that the Campaign or Challenge mode will work). It's a mod that removes super weapons from the game(Nukes, Scud Storms, and Particle Cannons) from all factions.
Does this work in Other Mods like SW and Contra etc.?
It will not work IF the mods modify the CommandSet.ini, which I am certain that SW and Contra definitely do. If these mods already provide them, you can go into the file and modify it by commenting them out(i.e. ; or # signs to the left of the structure name). It may be time consuming but it should be pretty easy if the mod authors don't have obscure names for their structures.

You'll have to find a way to unpack the game(or if the mod provides it), then locate the CommandSet.ini in data\INI in your Zero Hour directory. You can open ini files with notepad(I recommend Notepad++).

I'm afraid I do not have Rise of the Reds installed nor do I have permission from the developers of Rise of the Reds to do so.
Could you tell me which files to edit to disallow AI superweapons, but only the player can use them? I've used one for Rise of The Reds, but it doesn't work for other mods, so I want to do it on my own. Thanks. I really need it.
All I did was comment out the superweapon structures in a file called CommandSet.ini(It's a really easy edit). Unfortunately, doing that will disable the superweapons for both you and the AI. That's all I can remember since I haven't had the game downloaded for about a year and a half.
Hi, what about upgrades from missile silo ? Nuke Migs, tanks and neutron shells ?

There's alternative mods that exist for the first Generals that remove superweapons.
Doesn't work and now my game crashes each time I try to launch it. Looks like a reinstall in my future.

Yes, the Zero Hour directory. I'm confident it will work if you place it there.
EDIT: If you are getting a message telling you to replace the CommandSet.ini, it's likely you have another mod installed that is conflicting with the file.
Plus Chrome blocked the download and says it malicious why?
Find a way to disable Chrome from blocking it or just use another browser(I use Waterfox).
does this work in c&c generals zero hour i just downloaded this game from the internet and when i put the nosuperweapons mod i get technical difficulties how to fix this?
When you say you downloaded it from the internet, I am going to assume you either pirated or purchased a copy of the game on Origin. I can ONLY guarantee that an Origin copy of the game will work 100%.

The mod does not work with version 1.0, an error appears when starting the game. Is there also a Simple No Super Weapons Mod(Zero Hour) for version 1.0? The version 1.04 is unplayable against the AI on hard / Lag...

This mod is not working properly in terms of the enemy is doing nothing
You have to set the AI to hard. Super generals do not work because super weapons are disabled.
