Resident Evil - Seamless HD Project for PC Mediakite file

Here's a general guideline on how to install the SHDP pack. There are a few pre-requisite since this pack is a mod of a mod made for the Classic Rebirth patch :

- Biohazard Mediakite/Ultra2000 japanese release

- Classic REbirth patch for RE1: Classicrebirth.com

- Mediakite V1.01 update for the game: Classicrebirth.com

- Resident Evil HD mod by TeamX: Moddb.com

- We also recommend getting 7Zip for this process: 7-zip.org

Step 1:

Follow the CR patch instructions for installation without an installer from here, screenshots are provided: Classicrebirth.com

Boot the game to see if it works and on the setting pop-up, you can adjust many things to your liking but make sure to set Color to RGB888.

Step 2:

Install the TeamX RE1HD mod by copying the contents of the archive to the root of the game (all dll files should be in the root of the game, so next to the exe).

Boot the game to see if "Resident Evil HD mod v20220831 by teamX" is displayed at the bottom left of the main menu.

Step 3

Install our SHDP pack by copying the contents of the archive to the root of the game and overwriting everything it asks for.

Boot the game and from the MOD SELECTION dropdown list, select [DEV] Seamless HD Project. Now the main menu should display the TeamX disclaimer as well as "Seamless HD Project v1.0" at the bottom right.

Step 4

You will notice the presence of a "bio1dc" folder from the TeamX patch. This folder contains data to play the game with the Director's Cut backgrounds angles. If you want to play with the original background angles, simply remove or rename this folder, for example "bio1dc_".

That's it! Please note that to ensure the best experience, we recommend setting your desktop resolution to 1280x960 at a 4:3 aspect ratio and playing with the game fullscreen. Otherwise you will notice some scaling artifacts at higher resolution. We recommend using this tool to create a shortcut at the desired resolution: Bcheck.net

You can also force FXAA through your graphics card configuration panel to enable some anti-aliasing if you need to.
