-new "Capture the Mothership" Game type -MS with 500% health boost, unlimited capturers caps...
-some ships have custom visuals that can be "constructed" (Turanic Cruiser) and/or "unlocked" (Vay Chevron BC, 50 kills)
-unit caps info enlarged and moved to the top
-Hiigaran Defense Drone (ship model) finished

-Vgr Carrier armor finished, it will also give the ship the 10% health boost

-the mod no longer uses duplicate models, which means the mod size and map load time has been decreased
-Modular Destroyer share health and speed upgrades with the default Destroyer
-view distance of standard mines significantly lowered, minefields are no longer visible from the other side of a map
-mines from the artillery cluster missile and minetrap now execute the open animation
-the artillery frigate turret light doesn't flash rapidly anymore, new NavLights in some subsystems
-"Naabal" changed to "Nabaal" in SP campaign mission 3 (which may not be correct according to HW1 documents, but in HW2 it seems to me that it's generally known as Nabaal)
-a lot of missing research fixed (for example faction ship wasn't affected by research etc.)
-new badges
-new menu backgrounds
-wallpapers and 12 new Windows icons of REARM ships

-HE Artillery damage increased from 102 to 125

Played the Xmas small release, It was awesome, and this should be magnificent !
The main difference from the preview are the Turanic raiders, I've spent quite some time improving them. But there are still a few things in a WIP stage (the Hiigaran Research station, Kadeshi, localization...), due to earlier release. Earlier release from two reasons: firstly the delay was getting to be seriously way too long and secondly, I want to publish on Desura (where the 0.0.3c is currently awaiting authorisation). I hope you'll overlook those details, as they'll be fixed in the next 0.0.3d, which shouldn't take long.
Also, there's going to be a second download with an installer, so at the end you'll have three ways to install this mod.

That is large bunch of new stuff i will say more after i tested it but sounds very good to me.
The new ship's research are missing (at least for hig). I can see new ship in build menu but the research in prerequister arn't here (for no faction and rearm deathmatch). But still happy to have this new release
You most likely need a Research station for this. Everything about the Research station will be finished in the next release, including the prereqisities description if that's not clear.

Yeah it does sound funny, but there's an explanation for this. Right after I upload something it already has counted one download and I guess that's the one that doesn't count into the today's statistics.

All i can say is, WOW! haha you've managed to make the best mod even better! :) although i am having one issue....when i play with the vagar and call the raiders i start lagging? its kinda odd cause i can play crysis at high settings no problem...so not sure what happening, could be my fault but i have no clue yet. anyway, keep up the awesome work!
After you call a Turanic carrier, it starts drain RU from you as a cost for keeping it. So if it starts after that, the upkeep payments script may be the problem.
I really need someone to look at my whole deathmatch file, because if the explosion damage cause lags and now even this too, the problem is probably there afterall.

As far as I know not possible in HW2 engine at all. It's just Photoshop here, sorry.
Great Mod and a great release, but I think there are a few bugs. The first is I can't find the Vaygr research for their advanced frigates. The second issue is that the subsystems are now taken out in a single pass by bombers, not sure if this is intentional but its really frustrating when you almost have the MBC built and a single bomber takes out the subsystem in one shot. Otherwise its a great mod and I love the Kadeshi
Advanced frigates is a mistake in a description. There's missing text that for building them you need lvl 1 armor and speed frigate upgrades. Will be fixed.
What subsystems, the modules like fire controll tower or HS module?

I wouldn't mind if it was those sort of utility subsystems like the fire control tower or cloak generator.
I didn't change anything about facilities health or bomber damage. I didn't change it myslef, but... there's one odd thing I think saw in the hiig bomber plasma launcher files, so that may be it.
BTW you've got seriosly nice icon. I don't mean the dragon, I mean the color combination and the picture as a whole.

So yea thats what i fount it does and does not work on hope this info was useful the Homeworld 2 ESX version for russia was never a big success and got thrown off the game market there in about 2 months so dont worry about that.

I have 3 laptops which have these games and mods installed and the software too is very fresh and kept up to date not just for this mod and the 2 laptops (not Including mac) Were MSI Laptops the most advanced one's i think there are yet :D
Hello there Pouk i just want you to know from doing some testing with the installer if you dont mind i have an suggestion on how it can be used it's basicly an easy installer for saving you the trouble with the non-installer But some people have other mods and i fount out having the R.E.A.R.M mod installed will Dis-Allow all EXE authority of the "-Mod target command" And mods like Serous1.2.3 Path to victory and all others cant be used but im curios why cant the R.E.A.R.M mod be a simple -Mod Rearm.big "-Other folders" it is possible dont you think cause alot of people have been talking about this on strategy informer and i think it would be a nice idea if it was just very simpiler like other mods Like the path to victory mod you simply put the .big in the data folder and boom there you go you have the mod, But you make it too complicated with the Non-installer not telling us where the other 3 folders go?
I hope I've managed to read properly all you said.
The mod is localized. It needs the locale folder in the Data folder. It should be possible to pack it inside the .big file, but I didn't find a proper way to do it, it crashes from unknown reason.
The rest of the folders are just extras. You don't have to put it anywhere.
Could you further specify what it does to the other mods? Having R.E.A.R.M. will make all other mod shortcuts inactive?
For some unknown reason the Installer version creates a glitch between the EXE'S Applications and shortcuts which causes them to not work at all becuase the homeworld 2 folders has it's own failsafe where if its overidden by a seconed installation all other shortcuts with the target -mod appear to stop working and come up with the error Unkown Bugs have occured (windows version it goes black for any other mod and not respond) Mac it will crash doing that annoying Im Dead noise linux will just simply not do anything to make sure it wont crash which is nice and i have friends that have tested this on there computers/laptops with me like 10 to 15 of em did cause there all big fans and they agree with me that somthing wrong has happened in the programming in the Installer.
Its a very unkown problem that rarely occures it actualy killed off 1 homeworld 2 mod that was evan better than this one (sorry but the mod was being done from the day the game came out and was so big it was actualy 2 gigs big so many races and everything used to be so popular)

If you mean having 0.0.3b and 0.0.3c at the same time, then yes. Use the newer locale folder and two shortcuts, each loading the different mod version.
Hi guys, here's a enthusiast Mac homeworld 2 player that can't play this mod :( I've not installed the 2.1.1 update, should i install that before i'm able to play REARM? if not, my (using automator) alias looks like this:

which, doesn't work. the mod loads, i see the rearm backdrop. when i go to player vs cpu and just start a game, it loads until "universe" then freezes, and halts.
Any help on this? :(
for those with windows that have lag issues click the rearm shortcut > properties. copy paste these commands into your target line after -mod xxx and put these -hardwarecursor -luatrace -fragment_program 0. this eliminates 95-100% of your lag issues for ANY homeworld 2 user on windows OS. hope this helps u and pouk add these lines to ur .big if you got lag.

yeah it works. i had a dell inspiron with win 7 n it lagged on low settings. i downloaded the price of freedom mod n it didnt lag at all. i was like wth so i went to properties and found those command lines. so i figured for those complaining about lag on windows that this would help. for you mac users idk i dont own a mac. tho if i get one ill be sure to aid you as well.
Hey, so I just switched to a MAC and I can't get this mod to work. When I try to start it on Terminal, there are many error messages. Does Version 0.0.3c work on MACs? I've been reading mixed reviews with it working for some people and not for others.

every thing added by the mod appears like dollar symbols for the ships names but capital ship names that you type in are normal
Does your shortcut target line contain the "locale" command? Is your locale folder in place?
is the -locale important?
Yeah that's the thing that takes care about text as the names and the descriptions. The locale folder contains the text files, the -locale command makes them work.
I cant find the locale folder anywhere

my PC cant open rar files so i used desura but my dad uninstalled it but rearm was still there but no locale folder was found
