Rainy Days is the sequel from"The Harbour" thrusting players into an exciting story driven mod with teamfights and rain scenario.
Features:
- Cinematic Flair: We created a "rollercoaster gameplay" with interesting gameplay variations and the starches from Crysis mixed with some more scripted parts.
- Exciting teamfights: What we always missed in Crysis are the teamfights, where are them in the final game? But here they are, in a user made mod.
- Great-Looking Visuals: The whole level is hand made, and the rain scenario promised a deep atmosphere.
- High Production Values: We worked about two years on it to bring back the good old Crysis feeling with new experiences. All dialouges are recorded by professional voice actors and the original subtitle system from Crysis allows you to enjoy the mod in english as well. (Don't forget to turn them on in the Crysis menue)
Installation guide:
...
- Open your download folder
- Extract the RAR file
- Copy the "Rainy Days" folder into your "Crysis>Mods" directory
- Start Rainy Days by clicking on it in the Crysis mod menue. Or start the right .bat file in "Crysis/Mods/Rainy_Days" (64 bit mode is available).
- Start a new singleplayer game.
- If you have problems you can also load the two maps manually, open console with "^" and load the maps by typing in "map Rainy_Days_Part1" or "map Rainy_Days_Part2" (Without"") and press Enter.
NOTE: Patch 1.2 for Crysis has to be installed. Turn on the subtitles in your Crysis menue.
Wow! Awesome release, I just have to say this: You are an EXCELENT mapper, so continue with the good work!
Also, rated this 10, you deserve it man!
Thanks :)
maybe I'll re installed Crysis for this :D
(I used googel translater)
I would advise you to do so ;D
How can I check which version of Crysis I have? I'm almost sure I have 1.2, but I'm not getting the choice to load mods, and the game crashes on startup with this error:
[Error] <Scaleform> Error: GFxLoader failed to open 'Libs/UI/FrontEnd/Mod.swf' [Libs/UI/Menus_StartMenu.gfx]
Ok scratch that figured it out, now I'm running it, except it's giving me lots of particles in the rain, I can't see anything :S
Strange, can u show me a pic of that please? In the normal case, the rain is not there from the beginning. If it's the rain effect on your hud, you can disable it by setting the Shaders Spec down to Low for a second.
Turns out it's not just the rain, it's everything, and not just Rainy Days, it also seems to happen in Crysis :(
So false alarm, I'll go dig and see what's causing this, but your mod seems to be clean (and the voice acting is pretty spectacular from what I heard so far).
Puh, maybe this sounds rude, but I'm assuaged, that it has nothing to do with Rainys.
I hope a reinstall of Crysis will help and you'll enjoy it after that :)
any non rar. file
Hm, for me it works...
Umm it may sound like im trying to pirate or something but I have lost my Crysis manual
Are cd-keys only usable on one disc?
And if not can someone give me a key?
I bought Crysis legit at a gamestation and i just want to reinstall to play this
Thanks alot if you do oblige and if you dont due to suspicion then i dont blame you as im a random person and you may not believe me especially since im adding this section on
This mod requires the original Crysis to play it?
