Might as well ask (Though I'm probably the millionth to do so...)
What is the difference between this and SAMP?
Is it a difference in gameplay or just the same idea with different code?
The reason I ask is that me and a few college friends have a small SA-MP server we play on in between lectures. It's got a few custom scripts, nothing big, but I'm wondering if it'll be worth the effort to swap across to MTA.
The difference is huge, try it out for yourself. The sync is more advanced, and always was better than sa-mp's. This has a lot more functionality and more stable performance than sa-mp. It has client-side and server-side scripting functionality, and interaction in-between.

The difference really is big, if you haven't tried already.
trust him its way freaking better then SA-MP SAMP Ruined My Game So I Only Trust MTA. I Only Trusted MTA In The First Place XD
quick question, can 2 people play the full campaign co-operatively?
Daithimchugh, no, you can try and script that ( is possible on mta ) but will require loads of effort to do that, you have an alternative that is the Mini-Missions MTA server where you can find single player mini missions and single player features on there.
i gave this a try yes its a lil better then samp but i like my samp sever and im not ditching it for mta sorry
i guess my internet speed is not for this game
where did 1.4 go!?!?
