Version 0.825 of the Middle Earth Project mod, an overhaul for Crusader Kings 2. Full description below.
Lord of the Rings Conversion Mod for Crusader Kings II
MEP is an overhaul mod attempting to bring the world of Tolkien to playability in Crusader Kings 2.
The MEP Team’s hope is to allow players to experience Tolkien’s world of Arda, spanning from Angmar and the Iron Mountains in the North, The Harad Desert to the south, the Great Sea to the west, and Rhun to the east. As well as enjoy that world from a number of different perspectives, be that a Great King of Gondor, the Dark Lord Sauron, a noble Elf-lord, or a blood member of the Orkish Hordes.
Version 0.825
CK2 Compatible Version: 3.2.xx
Outside of this Version the mod is not likely to function properly, including crashing.

When does fertility begin for particular cultures?
Are you ever going to add the ability to sail west for an elf when they get past 2500 years old again, or even bring back the Middle Earth, Dynasty and Family Decisions. Those things used to be so good in the previous versions and I really wish they were in the newer one.
Agreed. I realize you are updating and its not easy, but there a lot of cool features that are not there any more. :(
sailing west is a random effect of the old age system now, as well as parts of the scenario events.
whats the checksum supposed to be?

45 is the setting for it, modified by the number of children you have, if none fertility shouldn't 0.
Is it for elven culture, which is almost immortal? 45 years as a border makes no sense.
Well in lore Elves largely only have 1 kid then never again, which is one of the main reasons we tied infertility to number of kids over age. As I said, 45 is just a base time and shouldn't kick in if the character has no kid.
Why does mine keep randomly shutting itself down? What version of crusader kings should I be using? And what DLC's (if any) should I use?
random crashes we can't ourselves diagnose and fix unfortunately, can only hope that our many bug fixes will catch the cause.

not sure if this is a feature of just this version, besides the random crashing which is acceptable because it isnt that bad, i just save often, the one thing that does make it very unplayable however, is after like 75-100 years the game running at three speed gets very choppy and slow, making it unplayable, im not sure if thats a bug or just a feature, i dont experience that with other mods or vanilla ck2,
besides this, love the mod, love all the work thats put into it,
any courts with a bunch of characters? only thing I really know of that increases lag is more characters in game, so if any one finds courts that are spamming characters we can look into what's causing that.
