Description
Imperial Splendour attempts to create the best Empire: Total War experience possible without destroying the essence of the game, with an eye towards expanding and enriching the experience, while adding to the game's realism whenever possible. IS 2.2.1b focus on Britain and France, adding two periods so as to allow an evolution of the uniforms. IS made also a large rework on the visual and sound aspect so as to make ETW as enjoyable as last TW games. The CAI and BAI are totally reviewed, the Great Campaign is now really more challenging, and it will be difficult for you to imposing to the World your imperial splendour.

why are there no forts in the campaigne.i built it but when i fought there was not fort
ok it says the year would start in 1785 and that it would be 5 tuns a year, but its still starts in 1700 and still 2 turns a year. oris that in the next update?
I can install imperial splendour and play it, but when I install the patch the game does not load. I have followed all the instructions such as moving the user scripts and unzipping the folders and replacing files but nothing happens. Anyone?
I really dont want the "No Protectorates" part of this mod... how do I disable it? :(

It says that the grand campaign will be more challenging. That is not true. The recruitment cost and time are bigger , but the AI doesn't build any reasonable armies. I didn't have that problem in vanilla, so I guess it's the mod. Also the UI gets messed up and, for example it says a cannon uses canister shot,when it uses round shot.

This is probably way too late, and i do not know about saved games, but I do not think so, in regards to darthmod, because they are both completely different, fully fledged mods. If they released a darthmod just for ai or something, then maybe. Also, I am not a modder, so it is possible that i am completely wrong, but i hope it helps someone!
No, both mods are complete overhauls of the game.
No, also, overhaul mods are not saved games compatible.
The beauty of I.S. is that you can play I.S and regular Empire at the same time (different games). I.S Mod does not "gut" the files so that you have to re download the game when you decide to uninstall the mod.

Why am I getting cross-mapped by archers and infantry?? How on earth do American militiamen have the same range as 6lb foot artillery???

How do I properly install this? I install it and select my Empire Total War folder but when I click on the launcher and press start I get an error saying "Application load error 5:0000065434."

I'm having the same problem as others. Every time I click the launcher and press start I get the same error as KinoBLitz.
I have ROTR but would like to play 1700 Campaign but this seems to be bugged, there are missing unit textures, will there be an update to fix missing unit textures? Maybe add a 1700 campaign with ROTR?
