Place the Imperial_Civil_War folder into Forces of Corruption\Mods, and the .bat file into your Forces of Corruption folder.
For more comprehensive installation instructions, please see the manual.
To play the mod via Steam:
-Open Steam and go to Empire at War, right click and select Properties.
-Click Launch Options and add sweaw MODPATH=Mods\Imperial_Civil_War
-Close Properties and click Play, selecting Forces of Corruption.
-To play the original game just reverse the second set of steps and remove MODPATH=Mods\Imperial_Civil_War from the Launch Options.

I got the 2.1 download and have the Visivia file and the 2.1 manual in the download but when went to play it plays as 2.0 with no Survival mode or the new units and delayed fighter spawn
Did you delete the 2.0 installation before installing 2.1?
Yes. 2.0 is gone from my computer. Originally had saved it to a different folder but then deleted in case Steam was being strange and grabbing from there rather than my mods folder
My laptop died (I play games on my desktop) or I would redownload it

I really like the mod but there are a few things I'm not a fan of. Proton torpedoes don't bypass shields anymore, making bombers more of a nuisance than a credible threat, which screws the NR as they put more emphasis on starfighters. I also don't like ships can only be destroyed by destroying their hard points. This means a lot of wasted shots and reduces tactical range as in the vanilla game I could destroy a ships weaponry and leave it, removing it as a threat while not spending a lot of time and ships destroying it. Also reduces wasted shots when targeting hardpoints and is more realistic as ships generally go for the hull as its a bigger target that hardpoints and will destroy a ship more easily than just taking out its weapons and engines. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoy the game and keep up the good work!!

You Now How Hard Is It to Download and put the Mod In? I Have No problem

This download's barely a gig and a half and it's gonna take whatever's left of the evening. Im not complaining too hard, but this is abnormally slow for moddb, thought the devs might want this made known and possibly look into it.

beautiful mod, but I am not really a fan of the tech system (by killing the imperial leader). maybe you can replace it with killing any leader.

It just means you didn't download the entire file and by the looks of it you've failed nine times in a row, wait until servers are faster or have a friend download it.
I could use some help. I downloaded it for my laptop and it works great! I like this mod very much. However when I copied files over to the desktop (my younger brother was wanting to play with me.) it dies every time you open a Multi-Player game. Says it has a Sync Error. -Stop- then it closes...can someone help me out. We both have the same FoC update and the files are the same...so what happened here do you think?
So, the faction I like the most is Pentescar Allignment, however, every time I kill Thrawn my game has a CTD. Is there any fix for it?

So right then. I'm using windows 8.1 and yes I have FOC. However I have replaced the Launch Path with MODPATH=Mods\Imperial_Civil_War. I have thrown it into the proper mod file inside of FOC and not EAW. However, it still does nothing more then start up the normal FOC. Advise?

So you get the mod launcher from Anakin_Sklavenwalker, Just put it on your desktop, and put the Imperial_Civil_War folder in your mods folder, and good to go.

i need help i have downloaded the mod but i will not work for me the files are in the mods folder but it wont work. i need help (have the steam version)
I downloaded the mod and followed the instructions. I moved the batch file into where it told me. Every time I go to launch it, it freezes. Did I do something wrong?
Whenever I try to open the game it gets to the image above (of the Stormtrooper with the awesome insignia on his arm) and freezes. I can't get any further. I have the ram patch and the game is fully updated, but It won't load T_T
you hear anything on this? It's a little annoying, as I can't figure out what's wrong with it.
Yeah, leave it as it is when the pic freezes. It may take a while, but in the end it should load. I got annoyed after the fiftieth time, so I left it and went to go make lunch, then came back and it was on the main menu and ready to play, so yeah, just leave it for a while and see if it eventually loads. Also, if you could let me know how it goes, I'd really appreciate it ^^
