Some important bugs have been fixed! Please read the installation instructions first.
Homeworld 2 Complex Simple (in BIG form) Installation:
1. Extract ComplexSimple.big into the DATA folder of your Homeworld 2 game folder. For example, D:\Homeworld2\Data
2. Go to Homeworld2\Bin\Release Folder, right click on Homeworld2.exe and create a shortcut. And be sure your Homeworld 2 is already V1.1!
3. Right click the shortcut, and left click Properties, then add " -mod ComplexSimple.big -hardwarecursor" to the end of the existing line in the Target box. For example, D:\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe -mod ComplexSimple.big -hardwarecursor
(Don't forget to click Apply)
4. You can now play this mod via the new shortcut!
And if you have any trouble installing or playing this mod, just tell me, I'll examine the problem and come up with solutions at first time!

When i start 1.4v i was amazed....until enemy units aproche me for the first time and cirkle my mother ship like in a kids play.Around me with a unnatural speed.I hope this version has unit behavioral realistic like a prevoius Complex 7.4.4 witch was the best.Really this "little" thing was enough for me to stop playing.
Is it a bad thing being able to play like a kid? :D
Of course not..if you 8.But i really hate the unnatural super speed of the ships....DAMM IT!! 9Mill mph! common and i didn't turn ships behaviour to fast.....PLZ make it like in good old complex....I know im complaining but the rest of this game is awsome.new models tons of new MAPS :) etc.
Hmm... I think there's a bug on the defense modules. The module said it would increase the armor of nearby ship, but only the carrier ship got the increased armor effect. Guess you should take a look.

If you upgrade the movement speed of utilities or missiles, the viper missile, Cruiser missile, and probes will spin around and can't get to the location you choose. You should fix that also :D

I just spent a whole day working on reducing the speed as you wish. I've come up with a good idea, I decide to reduce the speed of capital ships (including frigates) by 50% in normal action, and after upgrade (the name of upgrade is also decided, that is, 2nd Stage Thruster), they will be regain their high speed only when they reached their top speed (meanwhile 2nd Stage Thruster ignities itself automatically), together with completely new engine effects! :D
