Having problems with running the mod. At first it seems that the game is booting up, but then promptly returns to desktop. I have the files installed into the right location, and have changed the target path in the properties for the shortcut to this ".....\Homeworld2.exe" -mod HWAT_0_2_32_0_data.big. I even tried it as ".....\Homeworld2.exe" -mod HWAT_0_2_32_0_data.big -luatrace.
Have I done something wrong?
inside your homeworld2\Bin\Release\ folder there should be a homeworld2.log. If you put the contents of this file on a service like Pastebin and link them here, that could hep figure out the problem.
Installer or do I have to switch files?
Having some trouble getting this to work properly. Every word and button title has changed to a call sign like:$20543
It's trying to call something in but it cannot find it, it seems. any ideas?
I created an additional directory in the installation file \Homeworld2\Locale\English and put all the files in the English folder from the download in there, hoping that would solve it but no luck.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
There is no Homeworld2.log file in my \Release\ directory
