No I don't. So are you saying the only way to make it work is with the steam version?
You can use xash3d if you have the won version. But I have test it in the definitive version before. There was a xash3d bug when you dive you remain crouched until next level. It is reminded that you need the latest version from steam. -HonScottoSolo
First of all this mod looks great, the custom gamemodes particularly.
Secondly I have one question: is the HD pack optional? The mod appears to load without it anyway.
HD pack is enabled like in vanilla Half-Life - in the Video options.
I put everything in the Steam Half-Life directory but Half-Payne isn't showing up in Steam???

To answer your question, yes but you need the latest version from steam. Also to play other modes you need console enable to play it.

Anyone get it to work with Xash? I have too many issues with mods for the steam release.
i unpacked all the archive files. then the game loaded up, but whenever i try to make a new game it just crashes. Is there a solution to fix this problem
