It should work, I've put these maps in Gmod before. You wont be hearing the awesome music in the background though.
my god this is a good mod 9/10 a well look back at one of the best first person games ever.

When i try to download golden eye it says copy failed and it just stops there anyone know how to fix this.
I can't get source sdk to detect the mod, nor is there a launcher application in the mods files
You need to boot it up by the shortcut it created first. Or just search Goldeneye source in your files, After you boot it up, it should appear
I want this from 7zip format, I'm Linux user :( if this mod don't support Linux i can modify some files.
No way to support/play on Linux till our next release. Next release will be on new SDK and will support Linux and Mac.
Any estimate on when the release that will support Linux and Mac will come?

Is there an option to play this game via a game controller? I've never been able to master the keyboard and mouse. Thanks!
Source has native XBAX controller support, but I recommend the KBM anyway. It's pretty simple: point and click.

sense this is a mod for Half Life 2 then you need it for it to run correctly.

Hey I downloaded this version so I could play through a single player campaign, but there's no single player option, there's only a multiplayer option. help?
Thats only what the mod is...a redone version of the multiplayer from the original goldeneye
