The first version of the sub-submod, "The Winds of Winter", for Game of Thrones: Total War.
Install Instructions (Steam)
You MUST have Kingdoms for this mod to work
1. Open the win.rar file and extract the .zip file in inside to your Medieval 2 Mods directory (Usually this is Program Files-Steam-Steamapps-Common-Medieval 2-Mods)
2. Rename one of the kingdoms campaigns to something such as "americas original" or "americas 1" (or whatever campaign you picked)
3. Then rename the mod folder to "americas"
4. Go to Steam, launch Medieval 2. It should bring up the campaigns to choose from (vanilla M2, and the kingdoms campaigns). Launch "americas" (or whichever campaign you chose)
Note: You have to play a custom or quick battle before you can start the campaign, or else it will immediately CTD. This is a problem with Steam, so I can't do anything about it.
Other Versions than Steam:
Extract the downloaded folder to your mods-folder, make sure the name of the extracted folder is "GoT_Enhanced" without the " - then do not start it with youngbloods but start it with "Executable" instead.

Hmm. I just changed it, and it said that the change saved, but it still has my old bit on there.
Okay, nevermind, it's working now.
Nice.
I am adding the mod now so it will be interesting to see what alterations you've made as well as possibly play it a little. I will get my old gaming computer back soon and then i can create a good video to an article.
I didn't really add much, just a bit. The biggest addition was the updated campaign descriptions.
Yeah, they were good and interesting to read. You forgot the Arryn description but that doesn't really matter.
I am doing the article now.
Do I need before this sub-mod Westeros mod
No. You actually just need to download this mod, there are no prerequisites. If you were to try and download the Westeros: Total War or Game of Thrones: Total War mods before this, you would completely ruin it and restart basically from the beginning.
after i run executable I keep getting a message that says: "This application is not compatible with the installed operating system. Please upgrade to Windows 98SE,Windows 2000 or better. can you guys help ?
Is this something that occurs with all mods that you try to play? Because this just sounds like something to do with your computer, not the mod.
strangely, when extracting , the process suddenly breaks and a message appears , saying that there is an corrupt file and all goes to hell. 3 times I tried, all 3 the same...
any ideas?
Hmmm...are you using a Mac or PC? That might be the issue, because I don't think this works on Mac. I've never seen this problem before, and no one else has mentioned it. It might be your computer, not the mod. What I'm guessing is it might be something unique to your computer; maybe a file you've downloaded in the past, or anything that could potentially mess up the download of this particular mod.
