As this is a single mod folder your EnabledMods.txt should look like this:

This single mod folder does not contain any of the extra planets, addons, militia or pirate modifications as found in Sins of the Fallen, and is meant as a way to experience the work done with Fall of Kobol without the learning curve associated with Sins of the Fallen activation process.
Fall of Kobol has the following mod parts baked into the single mod folder.
Kobol Planets
Cylon Militia
Cylon Faction (Loyalists and Rebels)
Colonial Faction (CDF and Separatists)
Fallen Core

I don't package EnabledMods.txt. If you can't figure out how to activate a Sins mod then you shouldn't be playing it.
Hmm, why didn't I make the Cylon the pirates too in the baked version !? That will be fixed in the next release. If you decide you like the baked feel free to download the full versions.

You need to extract the 7zip.
If you mean why have the "baked" version it's because the standard mod has 42 sub-mods or folders when fully installed. This is version is meant for those that just want to try the mod without the more complicated setup.

Oh that's fantastic good that you made this standalone. It was always tough at first getting it to work not that the learning curve was hard there might be those that wont get it so nice work.
Did you also enhance any of the models and textures?? Always thought some bump & spectacular mapping were missing on the models.. Anyway I hope you will continue on the Bsg mod. Right now I'm waiting for a Galciv3 mod of the same setting. :)
Colonials will have the updated textures, particle effects and models I've shown on the image board here in the next release. They are still a little flat in this release and no particles. I'll also release another baked version with the next. I probably won't be able to hit Cylons in the next release but want to add similar work to them.
Please help if you can, Really want to play your amazing mod.

One folder? Where do I put every file here? Same place as normal, every file? It didn't say.
Ok there is no way to enable it or any instruction for it. For noobs this isn't any good.

Tried this - It almost worked but now getting mindump.
That should work fine. What happens when you activate with that. and there are indeed multiple instructions posted in multiple places and multiple videos.

The full download looks easier as there is a video showing you what to do. This mod did look great though.
If you aren't willing to read the instructions or watch the videos I can understand if you just give up. It's made extremely clear what order these things go in if you take the time to watch or read them.

I have read every video and searched the net high and low actually. I an not very computer savvy though and do struggle with stuff like this at times.
At the same time, there is no video I could find for this more simple mod, only for the larger more complicated 'sins of the fallen' mod.
The instructions were very simple on this page were they not?

As you can see, other people are having the same issues so the instructions are clearly not right.

The baked version is exactly the first instructions you pasted as in the baked download. If that didn't work you probably extracted into a second folder and had a checksum of zero which is a common problem. Its hard to say when all you indicated was it didn't work.
The instructions for the full mod and video explaining the rules are clearly linked in the read more+ of that download. There was no reason to search forums or guess. The other way of pm'ing me like you did will get a quicker answer as there is no notification of responses in these threads and its just by luck if I notice messages in a timely manner.
Btw the count should be 6 for the enabled mods you pasted 2nd.
I'm also new to this. I do struggle at time as I'm not completely computer savvy.
If I'm still doing anything wrong please do correct me.
I have it working with the above solution stated but with only two races, no stock races.

I downloaded the file for this. There is No enabled mod in it. It should be in the folder once unzipped. right. Well it's not sorry.
