The Enhanced 4X Mod version 1.701 for Rebellion version 1.8. To install, download the file, extract it to your Mods-Rebellion v1.80 folder, and enable it from the mods tab in game. The checksum should be 37622051. This small update fixes a crash bug with Neutron Stars and Blackholes from the Stellar Phenomenon DLC and allows the VCC/Vasari Loyalists to construct phase gates once again. I'm afraid there will be no patch for this version as it requires a file to be deleted. My apologies to everyone redownloading the entire mod again.

Yup! This basically just fixed some bugs and slightly nerfed mines. Minimods should not be affected. :-)
hmm getting mini dump crashes now...am I missing something? I only have the stellar phenomena DLC not the one with the planets, could that be causing the instability?
As in it crashes randomly in game? If you haven't tried reducing your texture quality settings. If that doesn't help, if you reload from an autosave does it crash at about the same point?
Well the first thing I did was tried to continue my game from a previous version just to check would it work, it didn't. So ok I created a new game started with the TEC loyalists, and after 2 or 3 minutes minidump, I tried lowering the settings doesn't help, I'll do some more "testing" and try to figure out if there is a pattern, I hope I'll be able to help :)
If you get the same crash even after loading from a previous game, please upload the save somewhere and send it to me.

I do not believe so. The amount of resource extractors are fixed per planet. That said, you can give your planets a bonus that will increase your resource income, such as expert metal/crystal miners, by editting the planet, making a new group, add the bonus and set the parameters to "Always" and "NoOwner".

Eh probably not, there's way too many of them. :p Besides I still need to update the Galaxy Forge. If you want to see what they do without spawning them in game you'll need to convert the files to txt and open them with notepad.

Just got a crash about two minutes into the game. Barely started exploring. First time using your mod, too. No idea what it's related to. Checksum is the same as yours. Will see if it occurs repeatedly.
Twice now. Same kind of crash. Error bleep, but no accompanying error, followed by a long hang then crash to the desktop. Nothing noticeable set it off this time either, so it looks random, esp. since this one happened a good hour into the game.
Random crashes are usually caused by Sins running out of RAM. Try reducing your texture settings a bit to reduce the chances of this happening.
Weren't the RAM issues fixed post Rebellion? I'll give it a shot, though. Also latest two crashes have had no warning, just straight crash to desktop.
It is still an issue with mods sadly that add lots of stuff (like this one!). In the next version I'm probably going to add some texture optimizations that will hopefully help the issue somewhat, but using say highest ship settings with this mod will probably never work. Other types of graphic settings like shadows and filters though are fine.
has crashed on me a few times, it either happens in the first 5 mins or an hour or 2 along, it seems its the random event, as soon as it was turned off I haven't had a crash in 4 games yet, and I don't play short games, hope this helps

okay it crashed again with events off, so ruled that out. I did three things when it crashed. I had just discovered a planet, I had just researched thermal planets. I just hovered my cursor over an oceanic planet hope that helps

no, it wont be related to steam, as if it were, the mod wouldn't load
I have played the mod a few times since it crashed earlier, and I think it has something to do with the planets, it always crashes when I either, discover, research or hover the cursor over a planet.
Hmm, does the crash occur exactly the same time if you reload from an autosave? Also I don't believe it should be an issue, but just because it might be planet related do you have the Forbidden Worlds DLC?
i have both the dlc, and it most of the time it dosnt get to the first autosave checkpoint, (it normally crashes before) but next time al try it
Well you can try a manual save right away as well. Then you can send the save to me if it keeps crashing at the same point.
Also, you're not playing a custom map someone else made or anything right?

okay had a few games and it seems it crashes the first 5 mins, but if I manually save, then after it crashes load the save it seems fine, doesn't crash at after that.
In a way that is actually a bad thing, if I can't get the crash on my computer it will be extremely difficult to figure out what the issue is. Otherwise I have to assume random crashes are due to hitting the RAM limit.

Well actually if you're going to hit the RAM limit with your current settings it tends to happen sooner rather than later, Sins loads in all assets at the start of the game. If you haven't lowered them yet try that.
The dev.exe does provide error messages, but quite a few things the mod does generates error messages even though they work fine. If you get an error message right before a crash though it would be a big hint. If you try it though, don't click on a hero. You'll be spammed to death with messages. :p
my settings are usally high medium low, but ave been running it at medium and low lately. i ran it in dev.exe and it crashed that to desktop aswell.
it came up with a few errors but they were at the loading screen of starting a match and not during.
but the dev.exe created a mdmp file, is there no way to read it?
Sadly not, only the devs can read minidumps. Really a save file that will lead to the crash is the only good debugging tool we have if the crash doesn't cause an error message.

This weekend I hope. You could do the standard way of getting the Galaxy Forge to work with mods though; Copy the GalaxyScenarioDef file from the GameInfo folder of the mod and paste it into the galaxy forge folder. No icons but you should get the bonuses.

I play game about an hour or two and then it start to crush very frequently. Everytime to desktop. I load an autosave, play a little and game crush again ... Very sad about that.
a found if you save manually, restart sins and load the manual save it should work fine.
