Duke Forces is a Star Wars themed total conversion for Duke Nukem 3D, based mostly on the Dark Forces game. For more information, read the full description below.
Duke Forces is a total conversion of Duke Nukem 3D which runs on the EDuke32 platform. Credits can be seen within the game. For a guide to weapons, inventory items, powers and upgrades, scroll down and click on the link to the PDF.
Install and Run:
Extract the DukeForces folder from the .rar file, and run EDuke32.exe to start game
You must have a copy of Duke Nukem 3D installed on your computer. For best results, place a copy of the file 'DUKE3D.GRP' inside of the dukeforces folder.
The included Eduke32.exe is for 64-bit Windows systems. If you need a 32-bit executable, you can find it here:
Dukeworld.duke4.net
Mac builds of Eduke32 can be found here: Dukeworld.duke4.net
Troubleshooting:
If you own Duke Nukem 3D but you get an error message that "DUKE3D.GRP" cannot be found, or something similar, then you need to find the file "DUKE3D.GRP" and place a copy of it within the DukeForces folder where Eduke32.exe resides.
If you try to play Duke Forces in an 8-bit graphics mode, then you will get a pop-up screen in-game explaining that Duke Forces requires a 32-bit graphics mode to work. This is true. Select a 32-bit graphics mode (the Polymer renderer is recommended). If you cannot select a 32-bit graphics mode, then your graphics driver may not be compatible with Eduke32.

Duke, Use the Force!
Anyone else having a problem where your force bar won't regenerate?
Hi, I just found the bug which causes that. If you get killed and then restart the level, but not from a saved game, then all of your powers get cleared. As long as you load from a saved game after death you should be fine. I will upload a fix in the future. In the old version of Duke Forces, you started the game with no force powers, and there is still some code in there to reset the player to no powers that I missed.
The patch to fix this and another issue has been uploaded.
And one more thing about that. If you want to fix the issue in a saved game, you can do so by opening the console (with the ~ key) and typing "setvar perks 768"
will this mod work with the 20th anniversary tour edition ? at least thats the only version i can buy off steam
I believe it will work, but you will need to find the file DUKE3D.GRP and copy it from the world tour install to the DukeForces folder. Let me know how that turns out!
ok stupid question ....anyway ive been trying the mod out and its pretty damn awesome ...very challenging. Great work
Thank you, and it wasn't a stupid question. It's quite conceivable that the world tour edition could have been incompatible. Thankfully they decided to use the same file format and not encrypt the data or anything nasty like that.

My two favorite moments playing this mod.
This easter egg: Youtu.be
And this glitch: Youtu.be
I can't seem to "interact" with anything, I looked and it's bound to E as it should be. Other eDuke mods work just fine. So I can't use the force or anything else for that matter. Kinda limits the gameplay ya know...
