Seriously people remember to restart Steam before starting up the mod, as Steam will think its the old version if you don't. Best way is to delete everything then re download the mod and then apply the patch.

basically because this was a direct mod of HL2 and not based on the Source SDK Base which is the recommended way to create a mod.
