This is the standalone release of Counter-Strike: A Mix of 3 Eras v2.4
Changes since v2.2:
1. The UI has been given a much-needed overhaul:
- Scoreboard has been updated to a stock CS Source layout with support for displaying a large amount of players (for zombie servers for example).
- Top bar of the spectator UI was updated.
- Buymenu design was improved.
- The UI for choosing a CT/T playermodel was updated and now displays a preview of the playermodel.
- Fixed missing stats in Achievement menu.
- Fixed any hardcoded text strings throughout the UI.
- Added a subtle fade-in animation for windows such as the Console, Server Browser etc.
2. Fixed an incorrect normal map for the AK47 viewmodel texture.
3. Added a new viewmodel and worldmodel texture for the XM1014.
4. Fixed Smoke Grenade showing as Flashbang at the top when selecting grenades.
5. Removed a texture that would be displayed under the player avatar on the winpanel as it shows oddly when the panel is fading out.
6. Updated several wind sounds to CS:GO versions (noticeable on de_dust and de_dust2).
7. Removed a line from autoexec.cfg that would force mp_autokick to 1 (in case you want to have it at 0).
8. Added the CS:GO defuse kit model.
9. Added a new sound for when you press a button on the main menu.
10. Adjusted Scout viewmodel position.
11. Fixed hardcoded text strings for the new entries in keyboard settings (was supposed to come with version 2.3, but forgot to include the file for it).
12. Updated bug reporter sounds.
13. Updated headshot sounds to latest CS2 versions.
14. Updated water wade sounds to latest CS2 versions.
15. Updated death sounds to latest CS2 versions (less bass, not really noticeable in game but decided to change them anyways).
16. Redesigned main menu by replacing the text buttons with CS:GO buttons and moved it to the left side like the original CS:S menu.
17. Improved appearance of weapon HUD selection icons at the top.
18. Improved HE grenade explosion effects by removing all fire, leaving just the smoke (like it was in CS:GO).
19. Improved accuracy of flashbang and HE grenade explosion sounds.
20. Moved radio sequences that had CS:GO music embedded into them (like round won) into a seperate script file, "game_sounds_music.txt", for easy modifications if desired.
21. Selectable options of menus such as map vote menus are now in the original orange color of CS:S.
22. Added new blood textures.
23. Updated colors of text on planted bombs.
24. Replaced wooden door sounds with CS:GO/CS2 equivalents.
25. Replaced buymenu preset saving sound with the CS2 Weekly Care Package accept sound.
26. Replaced Dualies deploying sound with a custom one based on the CS2/CS:GO rare Deagle inspect sounds.
27. Added new buymenu buttons that let you quickly buy grenades and kevlar (and defuse kit for CT side). The keyboard can also be used for these. The keys for them are as follows:
(7) for buying all grenades.
(8) for buying kevlar.
(9) for buying kevlar and helmet.
(O - not 0) for buying a defuse kit.
(P) for buying all grenades + kevlar and helmet.
28. Added improved bullet decals for certain materials.
29. Added a very subtle clothing sound for when the knife plays its CS:S styled idle animation (barely audible).
30. Improved design of freeze cam panel.
31. Fixed inconsistent design of the HUD icons for the weapons.
