Full release for Clan Quest Mod 3.0. Includes executable installer, readme, and all packaged mods' documentation.
And, a condensed feature list here below:
- Added new Kuei-Jin themed quest available to all clans
- Added an alternative solution for completing the Fu Syndicate scenario
- Added an alternative solution to navigating the Warrens
- Added new cut scenes to the Malkavian clan quest
- Added a new mini-quest for Malkavian characters
- Added a special Easter egg for Malkavians
- Integration with Companion Mod, i.e. Comp Mod Lite
- Added Strauss' terminal in the chantry
- Added a special hidden Easter egg, featuring the Prince
- Changed the stealth section of the Toreador quest to be more coherent
- Changed the battle with Strauss in the Brujah quest to much harder, incorporate the Regent's Thaumaturgical abilities
- Updated the installer to use the game's root directory as the target
install path, rather than the 'Vampire' directory within the root
directory.
- Updated the installer to not include an uninstaller, display meaningless warning messages
- Updated the mod to integrate with Unofficial Patch 7.9

Important Installation Instructions
While
installing previous versions of Clan Quest Mod, the installer forced
you to pick the “Vampire” directory inside of the game's root directory,
rather than select the root directory itself. Version 3.0 of the mod
changes this. Now, just like every other patch or mod for 'Bloodlines',
when picking the target directory to install the mod choose the game's
root directory. This will be different for most people, but one such
example of a valid target directory would be:
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\vampire the masquerade – bloodlines\

I've noticed that in CQM 3.0, Knox doesn't give you the book, i re-installed and same problem.

Downloaded and now going to play. But i noticed that this mod do not have a better resolution other than 1024 x 768,is that any update coming for add it?.Also is that new mellee weapons to be added in the coming updates?, cause i just cant wait to see non oriental blades like Gladius and Claymore.Would be just amazing find a new npc selling or trading it.

Please don't tell me it's just me but whenever I escape the Griffith Park, see Jack telling me to get in the car and right after the loading screen finish, it completely crashes. I tried reinstall, used the Steam patch and all that but nothing works. Please help! I so wanna do the final quests with my companions =(
I have to say, the voice work and animation on the 'Thrashing Dragon' quest NPC is stellar. Good work!!
This issue is still present, two years ahead.
How does training with email work? I did the intimidation tutoring/thing but I only lost money, health and blood without gaining from it.
I got that too sometimes - use it with santa monica computer only because when you use tutoring (for example intimidate) in one place and than use a computer in your other heaven (for example downtown) the new computer does not recognise youve already done the tutoring and you have to start from the beggining.
Aso dont know if thats just me and I had to little cash on me but I never could tutor myselph over first 2 points. but that may be just me.

I happened to encounter crash after getting away from Griffith park and fight with the werewolf, after i talk to jack and i have loading screen to next level, i see the hud coming visible and then it crashes...Can someone please let me know how to fix this problem...When I play with the original 1.2 version I have no problems.
What I have installed is Clanquest 3.01, and some of the skins and that is it

Just one thing - while I realize that asking for an 'idealist' brujah quest (you know a quest for the more intelectual brujah group) may be asking too much - could I ask for some changes in malkavian quest? I got that you wanted to implement the 'pranking' which is what malkavian do (and was a good idea) but somehow I feel that the tremere have a more chance of learning about malkavian madness than malkavians do.
maybe an elder changes the views of a malk so he beceomes more deranged? or he/she visits the 'mad world' like tremere does ? (great idea btw). I mean pranking is great but malk quest is not as good as others I think.
Still love your mod - great work - truly magnificent in its scope, love the lore implementation and the asian vampire lady quest is the best mod-created quest Ive played so far. Not in bloodlines but in general xD the added story is deep and it *feels* like vampire the masquerade.

I'm already in Downtown and i did'nt managed to find any new npc, so maybe i missed some opcion on the mod's installation.I did find a Lasombra i guess, in santa monica. by the way a smart choice put him there, it should be in the vanilla game, if i had saw this character while i was playing the original game, would be much more interesting since i wil be wondering what was that shadow. But i also have to say that he keeps appearing everytime you load that map, it becomes pretty silly after a time, since you already saw him.

So, does this allow you to possess your companions, so you can control them, as well as embrace Heather or Yukie as well?

Is this mod compatible with the latest UAP (8.4)?
Yeah, unofficial patch is 8.4.2 already...will it work with that?
it doesnt seem to work with patch 8.4.2 but it does work with the res patch
Great mod no doubt about it. Only complaint would be that the Companion Mod doesn't work as it should. Sure you get Heather and Yukie but you can't recruit random pedestrians or other Vampires which is a damn shame.
It's normal, Burgermeister only kept Heather and Yukie as possible companions, that's why it's not COMPANION MOD, but COMPANION LITE.
So will the final version of the Cam edition be in the new clan quest mod?
Burger doesn't know yet if he'll manage to merge it all, because he must have Zer0morph's approval and he's gone a little AWOL.

It will. You'll have to wait for the author to finish merging the new UP and upload a new version of CQM. For now, either play CQM or the latest UP.

My question is, why is there a password on the zip file? I've looked everywhere for it. Did I miss something?
I found a version at patches-scrolls that doesn't ask me for the password. So, problem solved, there.
First of all, love this mod for a few things; Kalliyan is great, as are the vigilante and hitman quest. I have a personal problem with the Brujah quest, and then a few glitches.
The Brujah quest is great. However, if you go the sneaky route and manage to avoid the guards catching you, the NEXT time you visit Strauss, he has the same dialogue as if you were going there to kill him. He never caught you, and you already committed your dark deed. Why not have him deactivate and act normally again (or at least just be suspicious so you need to persuade him that you're okay)? It completely blocked me from blackmailing him about the gargoyle. :x
As far as glitches go, it seems that some people are having problems with Griffith Park. I can't get the werewolf to activate at all! I go up and there's no fire and the observatory is locked.
A glitch that may be just the game; the initial introductory quest is stuck in my quest log. I walked through a door (right after you do the stealth kill) and then somehow got locked out of it again, and when I talked to Jack, he initiated the first conversation. I told him I didn't need his help and got out of there, but now the quest is stuck. An annoyance, but not terrible.
Re-installed a clean copy of bloodlines, and I'm installing the mod again... if my save is gone (hopefully not), I'll just play with some other mods in the meantime.
Re-installed the mod and the werewolf still won't trigger. I've loaded from earlier saves as well and it hasn't helped.
Nevermind, I'm dumb. The "Un-Pimped" Nines REALLY blends in with the landscape. :x

I have decided to go with your Clan Quest Mod 3.0 as an add-on for Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines because it .."adds many new quests along with a myriad of other new features, but also integrates several other mods for the game, including the Arsenal Mod, the Camarilla Edition Mod, Companion Mod, and more! (burgermeister01)".
I just downloaded it and now I will look for your 3.0 patch so I can do it all and then let everybody know how it goes, once i can play with it! :) Thanx for all your hard work!

I just completed the Dance of the Thrashing Dragon quest and my character is sparkling blue now.. Like an object that you pick up.. But its my character lol. Is this normal?

Hello, I appreciate and thank you for this mod. Do keep up the good work you’ve put in it.
Now I’ve noticed that there’s no alternative action on Skelter on the Ventrue Clan Quest - Dirty Deeds.
Now Skelter may be an ******* when he first talk to you, but I don’t see my Ventrue fledgling killing him just because of that or for actually fallowing LaCroix’s Orders.
My fledgling pretends to be loyal to LaCroix until he betrays him in vengeances for murdering his Sire.
What I’m asking is for alternative where you persuade Skelter to go into hiding, after fooling both the Prince and Lorenzo that you killed him until sometime later in the game or something alike.
If it is at all possible, of course.
