Patch 1.4 Notes
We have been working smoothly on getting the mod to speed for the latest patch and the 'Monks and Mystics' DLC, and are happy to release this update. We have started work on integrating artefacts and societies in the mod, but this work is still ongoing so hopefully this is just a start. We also have a new bookmark lovingly handcrafted by blackninja, that is set in the book 'A Game of Thrones', the titular book of the mod itself!
Highlights:
- Updated for 2.7.0.2 and 'Monks and Mystics' DLC
- Integrated many vanilla artefacts and added AGoT specific items
- A dragon mechanics rework
- Integrated the Dynamic CoA submod into the mod (Thanks to hero99)
- Improved incest- rulers may now take their lover-relatives as concubines
- Many database/map improvements and fixes
- Added a Noble Oligarchy government type, currently used in Qarth and Ibben.
- A new 'Game of Thrones' bookmark, with deep and engrossing event chains

(P.S. are we required to have monks DLC or is it optional?)
So i had what i assume to be the anti-piracy system activate cause of a version mismatch(yes i do have a legit steam copy at version 2.7.0.2), Is this cause I don't have monks and mystics or is there another reason it could trigger. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Follow these steps to locate where you need to place the files.
Finder > Documents > Paradox Interactive > Crusader Kings II > mod
Once you've located this folder, go to the zip file you've just downloaded and move the 'A Game of Thrones' folder and 'A Game of Thrones.mod' file into the Crusader Kings II mod folder.
Start the game, click on the 'Mods' tab and enable A Game of Thrones.
I am also using mac and I think I have the same problem. Everything goes right until I start playing, then after some seconds or I try to save the game CK2 shoots down .
I think it is some sort of anti piracy sistem...

hello when i launch my game the checksum is WHCB when i play i have popup saying that i have the wrong version of the mod or a different version of ck2
i don't know if it makes a difference but i use (mac)
and if i play it takes about five minutes or so then it crashes

I cannot change cultures without it crashing. Valyrian is unplayable by custom character.

Within 10 days George had managed to write off all main characters of the show...OHH THE HUMANITY!

I don't think its a bug, the update came out on April 1st so I would assume that this event is just the development team making an April fools prank.
When I started the A Game of Thrones bookmark, the game made Maester Lewin as a priest and not a maester, is it a glitch?
Dude, as I started the game, it said George RR Martin decided to kill Robert Arryn off, what the hell is that? What is that about? Really game breaking
Edit: Everyone is dying in the game, what is going on? All of the red skulls said George decided to take them away from the Game of Thrones.

The game crashes at random times out of nowhere, does this happen to anyone else?

Again, I don't know if someone saw it, but the maesters are always positioned as septons in some scenarios, I was playing as Ned during Robert's Rebellion and Maester Luwin was occupying the position of Septon, I tried to place him as Maester and I couldn't, also, I cannot ask for a Maester because it says I have one.
So, how do i get that april fools joke to go away? Btw, kinda lame joke :/
