A.3 CHANGELOG v 0.96b:

-All levels have been changed to now include PVPVE. Now there will be monsters spawned at certain points in the maps. This has sped up gameplay and
made things a lot more inteesting! Some levels now have environmental traps as well. (Bots DO NOT attack monsters). This was done to shorten rounds, stop bots from
just standing until 1:00, and to add another layer of gameplay. This feature can be switched off with "sv_nomonsters 1" in the conole.

-OST is now included (14 tracks)

-New Map: BHR13: HEART OF THE INFERNO

-New enemy types: UACBot, JetPack Zombie, Undead Priest

-removed mp40, as bots are useless with this gun
-removed axe and chainsaw, as bots are useless and the levels have abundant ammo.
-Made many bots harder, they have maximum skill now and are much harder to play against.

-Many levels have all new areas and tweaks. BHR03, for example.

1. Installation / Running

*TO RUN THIS YOU NEED VERSION 21 OF BRUTAL DOOM, AS WELL AS ZANDRONUM (FOR MULTIPLAYER), OR IF
GZDOOM YOU WILL NEED BOTS TO PLAY AGAINST. OPENGL REQUIRED AS WELL!!!!!!

1.0 Installation

Included Files:

BHR.ini Doomseeker config file. All the recomended settings for playing BHRXX and BHRTXX maps
BHRSI.ini Doomseeker config file. All the recomended settings for play for map BHRSI01
bots.pk3 Stops the bots from chatting (helps botplay a little, they are still dumb though)
BHR.wad The .wad file for Brutal Hell Royale
Readme.txt This readme
Q-Zandronum Q zandronum 1.2.1 (RECOMMENDED FOR BEST EXPERIENCE)

Unzip BHR.wad and (optionally) bots.pk3 to whatever folder you keep your DOOM mods in.

Install Q ZanDronum and Doomseeker

1.1 Running Brutal Hell Royale

*NOTE------- USE Q ZANDRONUM FOR THE BEST PLAY EXPERIENCE. BRUTAL HELL ROYALE WAS MADE FOR THIS VERSION OF ZANDRONUM.
ZANDRONUM 3.1 WILL WORK, BUT THERE MAY BE ANOMALIES (BOTS SPAWNING AS NORMAL DOOM CLASS AND GETTING VANILLA STYLED WEAPONS).
ALSO, USE THE INCLUDED SETTINGS IN THE .INI!

The easiest way is to use DoomSeeker and load the BHR.ini game configuartion file. All the settings for optimal
play will be there already. You can choose to play with bots (offline), or join / create a
server. Also, if not using DoomSeeker, you can drag and drop the files onto your source port
executable.

1.2 Load Order

Load bots.pk3 first if you choose to use it. Next load Brutal Doom, then you can load Brutal
Hell Royale.

2. Playing Brutal Hell Royale

Brutal Hell Royale is a multiplayer add on for Brutal Doom, intended to run on Zandronum. It
is meant for LAST MAN STANDING game mode (except for BHRSI01). The rounds last for 1:30, but after 1:00 the (surviving)
players are teleported to the same location to fight to the death. As well, you must contend with
monsters that spawn in the levels as well, adding another layer to the battles! Rounds are lightning fast and VERY difficult.
It is not meant to "fair." You will notice that not all spawns are created equal...but there are many ways to
take advantage of "bad" ones as well...

*NEW IN 1.5 - TURBO MAPS: The rounds are only a total of 1:00, with the players being teleported after 30
seconds. Also, the maximum players is reduced down to 16. These maps are BHRT01 and BHRT02 so far...!

**note BHRSI01: SURVIVAL INSTINCTS IS INTENDED TO BE PLAYED WITH A 23 MINUTE TIME LIMIT IN DEATHMATCH, FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE.USE THE BHRSI.INI FILE IN DOOMSEEKER.

2.1 BOTS

While meant for play against humans, bots can be fun and challenging, due to the sheer luancy of the rounds.
To add a bot, press the ~ key to bring up the console. Type "addbot". You can also bind a key to do this.
"Removebots" removes all, "removebot" removes one.

**THE MORE BOTS YOU ADD, THE SLOWER LEVELS GET. DOOM LEANS ON YOUR CPU HEAVILY, AND BRUTAL HELL ROYALE HAS
SOME LEVELS THAT PUSH THE ENGINE VERY HARD. BE WARNED, YOU MAY GET SLOWDOWN, ESPECIALLY WITH 24 PLAYERS ON
BHRO2.

***ALSO, I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM THE BOTS ANY BETTER. THEY WILL STAND AROUND AND DO A LOT OF DUBM SHIT.
