I. Summary:

Battlefront II Power (BFP) Story is Add-On mod that adds playable characters, more vehicles, and updates the 501st campaign.
-For offline single-player; online multiplayer is not tested or supported at this time.

BFPv3 (BattleFront Power version 3) has 2 optional parts.
This is Part B - Story Mod (adds to game)
This is not Part A - Side Mod (replaces default teams)

How it works:
Place in 'addon' folder like any other mod map for Starwars Battlefront 2005 - that's it!
-Story mod doesn't overwrite stock game files or sides.
-Merges with optional BFPv3 Side-Mod (same folder).

Files:

1. BFPv3/data
   (Mod files for story mode)
2. BFPv3/addme.script
   (File for my story and missions)
3. BFPv3/story_switch.bat
   (Simple program that turns mod on or off by renaming addme.script)
4. BFPv3/Savegames
   (Move to your saved games to load rebel GC movie)
5. BFPv3/BFPv3 story.txt
   (Details of my story mode)

II. Requirements:

1. PC version of Classic 2005 Star Wars Battlefront II by Pandemic Studios,
2. Official 1.1 or 1.2 patch for addon mod support,
3. ~685MB HDD space.

Compatibility:

• Single-player focused; Not tested for multi-player.
• Works with default factions or teams, and 'visual improvement' mods.
• Works with default game levels, all conquest modes, story mode, space battles, and some CTF and 1-Flag.
• Works best with BFPv3 Power Side Mod (not required)
• Untested with other side mods, including older BFPv2

III. Changes and Features:

Remastered Campaign Story:

• Recovered original voice-over lines.
• Improved objectives on Felucia, Utapau, Tantive 4, Hoth.
• Use stun shot on Leia for Tantive 4 mission! (anyone who doesn't understand this is not a real Star Wars fan yet)
• Extra characters, more heroes and villians, easier, more like movies.
• CIS and Rebel campaigns with 12 missions.

Star Wars movie battle playlist:

PART I - CIS Prequil

1. Naboo Hunt with Darth Maul vs. new Gungans from BF3 (shield by me) and Naboo guards.
(My KNA Naboo plains XL map is also patched with new sides)
2. Mos Eisley CW CTF plays as Bounty Hunter Mode - choose from Jango, Boba, Bossk, IG-88, Dengar.
3. Kashyyyk Hunt with Chewbacca and Bossk.
4. Geonosis Hunt or XL with Acklay monsters and ARC Troopers.
5. Space Felucia 1-Flag plays as Space Geonosis with geo fighters.

PART II - Remastered 501st
-Recovered VO and Objectives for: Felucia, Utapau, Tantive 4, Hoth.
-501st units with 4 local clone legions.
-Utapau is more like movie: droids cease-fire while you fight General Grievious, then 212th legion spawns in and big battle ensues.
-Vader on Mustafar, Naboo, and Yavin 4
-On Tantive 4 Stormtroopers get a special stun mode on to use on Leia.
-On Hoth you you have 2nd chance to kill the rebel transport if the beacon is destroyed (use the new imperial commander orbital strike).

PART III - Rebellion

1. Hoth XL and Wampa Hunt with heroes.
2. Space Hoth with the Falcon.
(My BYR Bespin mission is also patched to work with new sides)
3. Space Yavin 1-Flag plays as Space Bespin 1-Flag.
4. Jabba Palace GCW 1-Flag plays as Thug Hunt.
5. Dagobah GCW CTF plays as Capture Yoda's Holocrons.
6. Endor Hunt plays as story mission mode.
7. Space Tatooine 1-Flag plays as Space Endor Deathstar II with updated laser B-wings.
Watch the rebel galactic conquest movie to finish! I included 2 GC saved games:
Move 'Rebel GC Movie2dd780f9.gc' from BFPv3\SaveGames to GameData\SaveGames and load "Rebel GC Movie"
'Endor Finale GC2dd736bc.gc' is rebel GC with Endor battle.

Characters:

• Single Player Instant and Galactic Conquest Modes get 2~3 More characters, AI/Bot heroes.
• All levels have Jedi and Sith with fixed saber sounds.
• Improved Gungan, Naboo, Wookiee and Tatooine local characters.
• 3 more clone legions: 212th, 327th, and shock.
• Over 40 more characters from Starwars community: Recovered IG-88, Cut Farmer Luke, BF3 Old Ben, BF3 Durge, Assaj, JKA Bossk, Ahsoka, Starkiller, more.
• Some of my recovered and improved re-textured characters: Red guard, death trooper, CC Rex, clone legions, ep2 Anakin, geo elite, reb sbd, weequay, trando, bothans.

More Vehicles:

• Added tanks to Mos Eisley and recovered Swamp speeders to Kashyyk CW.
• Land maps with Bombers and gunships on Kashyyyk Conquest, Mygeeto, and Geonosis XL.
  Falcon, Slave I, B-wing, recovered pandemic vehicles.

Modes:

• Hero vs. Villian CTF on Mustafar, Coruscant, Deathstar, Naboo, Kamino.
• Coruscant CW CTF plays as Order 66 Holocron CTF.
• Jabba GCW CTF plays as Hunt.
• Tatooine CW CTF plays as Bounty Hunter Mode.
• Endor Hunt plays as my recovered Mission story objective campaign mode.
• Patches and udpates sides for BFP maps BYR Bespin, KNA Naboo, and TE4 Tatooine (only CW and GCW era).
• Fixed Scoring in Space 1-Flag so flag acts as bomb, will now damage enemy ship.
• Space 1-Flag map alternates:
  Mygeeto plays as Coruscant,
  Felucia plays as Geonosis with ep2 ships,
  Hoth plays as Asteroid,
  Yavin plays as Bespin,
  Tatooine plas as Endor Deathstar II Assault with falcon and bwing.

IV. Installation:

1. Verify that you have the Offical 1.1 or 1.2 Patch for Battlefront 2005 with the 'addon' folder in your game directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon
In Steam it maybe:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II Classic\GameData\addon
If 'addon' folder directory does not exist then make it.

2. Unzip 'BFPv3' into 'Addon':
...\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon\BFPv3
(The BFPv3 Side-Mod uses same folder)

3. Start the game!

V. UnInstallation with BFPv3 Side Mod:

1. In 'BFPv3' folder,
...Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon\BFPv3\
2. delete 'addme.script'
3. delete 'data' folder

UnInstallation without BFPv3 Side Mod:
Delete 'BFPv3' folder in 'addon' directory.
