1.1 will contain various bug fixes, changes and some new features/items.
Do take in mind that there is still a lot to be done. This patch mainly focused on (hopefully) fixing the bugs and changing the religion system.
Considering the massive size of the mod. Additional bugs and unfinished feature are expected to be there. If these are encountered. Please report the bugs and remain patient for future fixes!
A changelog can be found in the RaR-file

Save compatible?
I can't say for sure, you'll have to test that.
Don't believe it is- tried a saved game from ver 1 and the game crashes.
The image in the main menu still says Bellum Imperii 1.0
And so does the welcome message ("Ave! ...")
Yeah, shamefully forgotten those minor edits. :(
Hope you guys can look through that. ^^
Leigonaries still without shields?
Romans without shields? Or its just my problem with 1.1 version?
It's getting pretty odd. I don't have any problems at all with the shields?
which version of the game is recomended? I couldnt find this information. Are you running steam version? Might can help... Soldiers are without weapons just in my army what i know. When i fight some roman party. The enemy has the shields on this units :-/ .. And i had tryed versions of game (1.127;1.143;1.153;1.158and 1.168)
The latest Warband version is recommended. Which would be: 1.168
Hey!! i solved this problem. But its really strange. I moved the legeionaries and cohortes to different group then infantry. Just name new group, move these units there and now they have shields :-D .....hmm..... :-)
seems this dont work everytime but it was first time when they had shields...
At least it worked once.. I'll check if it might have something to do with the groups. Don't really have a clue what it otherwise could be.
Edit: It didn't have any effects, tried re-downloading/installing it?
i redownloaded and still the same. i think it must be something about battle initialization becouse its happening just in battle on my side. When i want duel with legionary its ok with shield...
Demn! this is really horrible bug, its make the mod unplayeble when you want play as Roman :-D. But still .... this is one of the best mods i have played :-). good job!
Yeah the thing is though. For me it works perfectly fine. Hence why it's such an odd bugg. It's probably some setting that's different or something.
Find it! And kill it! :-D
Now im downloading some different instalator of MB. so we will see...
Actually, what units don't use their shields? The legionnaires?
Seem to be running mine ok on ver 1.153.
I'm sure it will run fine on any version. But just to be sure the latest is always recommended.
yey :D i was waiting for a newer release :) Thanks
Good version :) But my Roman army already don't have their shields in combat :(
What are the troops called?
all legionary
All Roman troops, from Levy to Pratoerians, i think ^^ When i fight with allies (AI) with big armies they don't use their shields too :/
Ps : scuze i forget to press reply
What game version do you have? If you would be so kind, please check for each unit (Levy, Legionaire, 1st Cohort etc) if they use shields.
I have the latest version (Steam).
I just begin a game so i just have a little army. Levy and auxiliaries don't uses their shield for sure ^^
It's difficult to upgrade my soldiers to Preatorians and first cohort x)
Same issue - first battle seemed to work with Levy's having shields. Every battle since, including Legionaires and companions, they don't use shields. Also - minor - it appears that the banners don't translate in game, for what you choose at the beginning. Looks like it reverts to a base version.
Updated steam version of the game, and 1.1 downloaded into existing file.
Great work, and I look forward to future updates!
Great work!
Just wondering, do i install this on its own or replace replace files and such for 1.0?
On its own, it's a standalone!
Awesome, thanks.
For anyone that's been having trouble with the Roman troops not using their shields, try cycling through the weapon orders that you can give them. It's been making them pull their shields out for me when they decide to not start the fight with them. Hopefully this'll help some one else.

Awesome! I love the new additions!
I cant hear any music is it meant to be that way or have I done something wrong?
I just got 1.1 and put it under modules but I cant play theres no option in my game
Would you consider adding Eastern culture group for Parthia etc.? These guys were not barbarians by any account.
That would be a future next step. Currently the main two 'groups' that had to be converted were the 'christian' and 'pagan' religions. Easiest way was to convert them to 'Roman and 'Barbarian' but in the future there will be more. Like 'Nomadic' and 'Eastern'
Encountered a bug. Wanted to save a prisoner lord who asked for one of my companions and did not return him.
Went to Segodunum, sneaked in, told prison guard (who for some reason was named Castle guard) to give keys or else. He cried 'Prison break!' but didn't do anything. All of the people are now untalkable but not hostile, all the doors - closed, TAB - 'Cannot leave now'.
So you get really stuck in there.
Also, when you are in the prison itself, you have a spear and a long club-looking thing (both from the mod, I assume). But in the town, you only have generic Warband staff with you. But, surprisingly, no throwing daggers.
Hi! the mod is AWESOME, just one thing, I´m trying to rise up on Iberia using auxiliary troops or local troops, but there dont exist an iberian tree of troops :/, all auxiliary are numidian (in Hispania?) Would better if they could be gaelic (north of Hispania were part of celtic world). Despite of, congratulations and srry for my bad english level!
Very nice mod !
