Known bugs in this version:
Every now and then there will be two instances of your character in taverns. - exiting and re-entering in most cases fixes this.
Red text in Winterfell and Casterly Rock.
Kingsguard feature currently will not work with the player.
Some face codes need changing.

I've been playing it since the release. I must say Woah, dude, woah. You have done a great job since the Beta 7. But I keep missing good cavalry units and some lances. But you are on the good way, mate. Keep on it!
Why does is downloading painfully slow? I can download most games within 1-2 hours. This mod will take anywhere from 8-14 apparently.
1-2 hours?! It's only 1.1gb man, are you using dialup?

Hello mate. First you need mount and blade warband installed. Next extract this mod into warbands modules folder. You can then select the mod from the dropdown box from within the spashscreen after starting warband.
Hi, ive downloaded the file, extracted it and copied it into the modules folder. Then when i try to start the game, i select the mod on the launcher and it starts to boot up. However after the taleworlds screen it shows the loading screen for less than a second then goes black and crashes. Ive tried downloading it again and extracting again but same result. Any ideas?
i have problem with start.....its loading and after its loaded ...i see only picture of (i think) wildlings in mountains ....only picture...and nothing more...can you help me with this?

I had the same problem and i just updated mount and blade. Now it's working just fine

Really really really big update and greatly extended lands! Troops finally have some really cool ****. Beta 8 just needs a fast hotfix.
Suggestions for a hotfix:
*Many vassals still use same(repeatable) flags, some have wrong flags.
*Faces... so many fk up faces... including kingsguard... and especially Essos.
*Few duplicated characters... well at least that's what characters board shows.
*Female faces almost don't age... haha... ha.
*One fk female hair texture... could female get at least one more hair texture?
*Can you NOT make Free Folk lame as **** and deafeatable in 40-100 turns?
*House Velaryon needs Drftmark as castle pls... crap castle but castle as castle is. Also their are valyrians, white haired and stuff...
Suggestions for the future:
*Please expand Essos and make some action there...
*Adding a pirate faction in Disputed Land would be great action.
*Can we get valyrian skins?
*Can Freys just fk off Riverlands and be The Freys, for a slaughter?!
*Boltons and their bannermens as a faction too?
*Sellsword companies for hire?
*Better custom flags to choose from?
If your going to report bugs can you please do it correctly? You make no attempt to explain the problems..
The only vassals that use the same flags are the Nights Watch and the Free folk and for good reason...
What faces? pictures please?
Which characters are duplicated?
There are much more than one female hair texture...
Essos will be expanded on in due time.
Valyrian skins are already available.
Sellsword companies are already available for hire in many different ways.
Whats problematic with Dragonstone?
No idea what the issue with the reach is?

Kay... damn what warband version should I use with this mod? As from what you stated I understand that problem is my and not Beta 8.
Because I have many bugs, many. Like even House Greyjoy use wrong flag. They use Harlaw flag... Beta 7 was like fine and then Beta 8 appeared like really really cool, but bugged. I guess this could be because I use older version of warband... I at least hope so.

There does seem to be two Lord Elwood Meadows in the reach, I noticed this in two separate games.

I don't know how or where to report a bug is, but there's a bug when I start AWoIaF and while on the main menu for the tutorial/singleplayer/multiplayer, it shows up in red text with the "script errors" and doesn't have any menu selection options. Is it because I have 1.168 or if the download I had is corrupted?
The download is corrupted. You are possibly missing game variables.txt or variables.txt

So here is the problem.I have installed Warband v1168. And extracted Beta 8 into the modules folder too! But When i click on "Start a New Game" A picture of Kings Landing and the following messege appears."Runtime Error! (location)/mb_warband.exe "

THe join Mance Rayder quest is bugged, he asks me to ambush a crow patrol and bring him there armour but its not working at all, any tips??

You need to make sure you game contains variables.txt and game_variables.txt
Also ty deleting font data in your mods data folder.

I cant turn of realism moral in the options so im losing my units every night :(
Also can not turn on decapitation.
Those options are being removed for the next release. Theres plenty of ways to keep moral up. Though setting up camp most nights should be sufficient enough in most cases. Im pretty sure your moral would drop considerably if you were forced to march and fight for long periods of time with no rest ;).
but its just annoying to stop up every night just to rest
Carry some mead or wine, or different types of food. You don't need to rest every night. Win some battles and rest in a town once every few nights and you should be fine. It just means you cant go for weeks dragging your men about without any rest. It gives a meaning to be able to use your camp, entrenchments or a fort.

No idea. I just checked it and it seems to be downloading ok for me.
i have the same issue as many others about the main menu.. doesnt show anything but wildlings and a text saying "A World of ice and fire beta 8".
I do have game_variables.txt variables.txt. and i have tried deleted font_data

I just discovered the Gem that is Mount and Warblade only a few days ago, and I am currently downloading your mod (btw game of thrones fan huge time) I am trying your mod first over Cozurs because there seems to be a lot of animosity towards him and I heard something about diplomacy being disabled. If I like what I play i'll throw a donation your way!
Btw something is odd with the download it stops on its own every 10-15 seconds. lucky I got high speed internet wont take much longer.
Mount and Blade: Warband certainly is a gem, at least it convinced me to get into modding :).
I hope you enjoy the mod! Unsure about the download issues, this will be down to Moddb of which I have no control over.
Hey I figured out the download issue it stopping, was on my end my antivirus was running CPU usage up to 100 had to disable it...lol. never done that before till yesterday.
Got it downloaded and omg nice job on the armor and locations and everything being loyal to the books just a couple things
#1 im having a hard time finding a lady to court for an allaincenearly all are already married.
#2 Oberyn Martell is an old man with white hair and a beard but his book description he shoudl have black hair and be younger
other than that I am currently raising an army around the Vale and planning to usurp the Arryns and join forces with Stannis later to sack kings landing for a spin off alternate story where the vale under my command sides with Stannis!
