Nope, also the UPC language file let the mod not work for me. I start the mod manager, aum_emp_mod.pack and UPC_German.pack are ticked ( no conflicts) but it still crash at the start of the game......
hey mod been working great just had a problem with the ships color, changes like the santisma trinidad and other custom colored ships they all have a stock color instead of the custom job like with the red and black stripes just letting you know so you can improve in the next version that i'll defiitely download again
I really don't know what I'm doing wrong, but this mod isn't working for me either. Even after following what was suggested in the comments. It used to work, I've played this game for years now. I just re-installed it though recently and downloaded this on a fresh install. Copied everything I needed to, to the data folder. And yes, I do have the UPC-EMP file in there too. I've tried using it with and without the manager. Nothing works, I still see the same units there as in the vanilla. It actually works with the DarthMod version, but I don't really want to use that.
Edit: Never mind, figured it out. Was skipping a step because I didn't think about anything else I needed to do, due to not using the manager. Had to go to change the script manually.
1. download one version and unpack the files to a folder
2. copy the *.pack file to your Empire data folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\empire total war\data
AUM-EMP vanilla version = aum_emp_mod.pack
AUM-EMP Darthmod version = DME_AUM.pack
3. Use the Empire Mod Manager or edit the user.empire_script.txt in this folder:
Please put the AUM-EMP entry on top of the script file if you use other mods.
> VANILLA version:
mod aum_emp_mod.pack;
> DARTHMOD version:
mod DME_AUM.pack;
mod DME_darthmod.pack;
If you use the DARTHMOD EMPIRE LAUNCHER, then you can edit the script file in the menu.
4. Language information:
The UPC-EMP mod is mandatory that the unit names and descriptions show up in the game. Empire will crash if you don't use UPC-EMP together with my AUM-EMP mod.
You can switch your language in the Steam options of Empire.

I didn't freaking purchase it on their website you even have that "put that file on steam to go to empire". I'm literally tired of mods not working and resulting in Empire crashing over and over. So tell me THIS. What do I do with the user.empire_script.txt. Because THERE IS NO SCRIPT FOLDER!
i don't understand how to make it work, i did put that file and the english file in the data folder and when i did enter in the game nothing happened i mean like i didn't saw any new unit (i played with that desert nation in India and with france
You need the special UPC language file too.
The UPC-EMP language file is required to display the unit names and descriptions.

Yes it should be possible. If you use AUM-EMP with other mods than Darthmod, you need the vanilla version of AUM-EMP.

Stuck on step 3 instructions are unclear. nothing under data roaming theres no file name creative assembly.
Sorry late but the folder the creative assembly is hidden you need to unhide it
The mod isn't working. I haven't tried installing the DarthMod version, but this causes CTDs right at the beginning
