No it uses the "Source Base" engine, which is the engine that lost coast uses. So its somewhere in between HL2 and Ep 1. It's using that engine to target the largest number of people (i.e. anyone with HL2)
Where would i put it?
Indeed. It's laid out in the readme. Just dump it in your steamapps/courcemods folder and restart Steam.
